One of the most versatile pieces in anyone’s closet, hands down, is a good blazer. It’s the ultimate girl-on-the-go wardrobe weapon. They make the perfect layer to keep in your car/on hand so you can polish off your jeans and tee at a moments notice for a last minute meeting. (I’m the same with heels – I always have a pair in the car, just in case!) Not only do they work for any season, you can also transition them for any occasion. I also love the look of belting a long, oversized blazer and wearing it as a dress – the perfect balance of feminine meets masculine – or buttoned over a pair of matching biker shorts for a monochromatic look. Honestly the possibilities are endless! I love this blush option under $100 (it has the prettiest lining!) and these matching pants are gorgeous! This one is a great price point under $50 and also obsessed with this one – such a pretty shade of pink!

For more ways I’ve styled a blazer for spring, you can check out these posts here, here, and here. Below are a few more great blazers I’m obsessed with that will make the perfect layer for any look:

We also just posted our assumptions video on YouTube this morning! We will be doing more videos soon, so make sure you are subscribed to follow along! I thought about doing another assumptions video since there were so many questions, so comment below with any assumptions you have!

  2. First, Christine, love your voice! Not at all what I expected. 2nd, (and sorry, but this is something that just annoys me about social media, etc.), those who think you guys never fight is because you always LOOK happy in your blog! Of course you’re not going to rant and rave about your spouse or show bad moments, so (duh!) people are going to think that (this isn’t a slam on your — it’s in regard to the assumption.) I once had a friend say to me about a person we both know (who she’s in contact with via fb), “She looks happy on facebook!” Well, of COURSE she does! She’s using that platform to brag about her life! (again, not saying this about you — it’s about others not thinking). Third, sounds to me like Cody is a bit of an introvert, if he doesn’t like small talk, but is “outgoing” with those he knows.

    Again, Love your voice!
