Cozy Valentines Ideas

My favorite sweatshirt is back in stock just in time for Valentine’s Day again this year!

DETAILS: 1 – Pajamas | 2 – Sleep mask | 3 – Sweatshirt | 4 – Slippers | 5 – Jade roller | 6 – Silk pillowcase | 7 – Perfume | 8 – Makeup palette | 9 – Socks | 10 – Candle | 11 – Book | 12 – Sneakers

I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is already coming up!  I wanted to round up some cute Valentine’s cozy looks. As you can tell…I am lusting after mostly all cozy things!  Its so cold here in Utah and the second I walk in the door I just want to be cozy and bundle up! I don’t get ready nearly as much in winter as I do in spring and summer.

These sweatshirts are my all time favorite and so soft and cozy! They make such a great gift to your girlfriends or sister…or even yourself 😉 I always have a comfy pair of socks or slippers on around the house too and I am loving both of these! And these pajamas are so soft and comfy…I have them in navy and black and now I need this pink pair!

Laura Mercier is one of my favorite beauty brands and I am loving this palette!  It has the perfect neutrals for the eyes and the prettiest cheek color. My best friend has this perfume and its so yummy that every time she wears it I ask what it is, I need to pull the trigger!

I have been loving getting new coffee table books and candles for our new house and these are both some of my new favorites. This Louis Vuitton book came while we were in Hawaii. It makes the perfect neutral accent for anyones living room. I’ll be sharing more about all the books I got 🙂

What’s on your list for Valentine’s Day?

ALOHA

DETAILS: MY SWIMSUIT | HAT OLD – SIMILARCODY’S SUIT | MARA’S SUIT

Aloha!! This was one of our first days in Hawaii last week.  We have been coming to Hawaii every winter for the last 4 years and its become one of the kids favorite family traditions. We like it because we don’t feel rushed to see everything and we can really relax.  We love going from the pool to the beach and back and forth!  This time we stayed in Waikiki beach right in the hustle of everything and it was nice to be able to basically walk everywhere.

I just got this one piece a couple months ago and I’ve been so excited to wear it! I love the high rise on the side with the little metal ring. It looks kind of tye-died in these pics but that’s just because its wet – its really a solid blue color 🙂 Its funny, I look at this and realize we were all unintentionally all wearing blue!  But it worked out great for a family picture! 😉

Yesterday was Mara’s birthday!  Can’t believe she’s 11…I met her when she was a couple years old (for those that don’t know, she is my step daughter). It has been so fun watching her grow. She has such a big heart to help people. Happy birthday princess!!!

Tomorrow is the last day to vote for the LiketoKnow.it awards!!  We are nominated for Best of Family – I would be so grateful if you took a minute to vote for us!  You can vote here. Thank you for following along all these years! Love you all!

Hello Fashion at Home: Splurge // Save on Console Tables

Hello from Hawaii! I can’t believe we finally moved into our new house a couple days ago! It has been so fun sharing this home building journey with you all and I am so excited to share the process of getting it all set up and decorated.

SPLURGE:  One | Two | Three | Four | Five

SAVE: One | Two | Three | Four | Five

I had no idea when starting to decorate and furnish how many little details go into it! Picking even the smaller things like console tables to coordinate with everything else in the space turned into a rabbit hole of exploring. We are working with an interior designer (@erinhansendesign) which helps a TON! But I’ve come to love looking at other pieces even after we finalize our own 🙂  I get so many questions on where things are from that I thought I would share some splurge vs save inspiration as I find it along the way. We just ordered this console table for my entry way and I can’t wait for it to get here! The one thing I have realized is that furniture takes WAY longer than clothes I wish we could get everything in a couple days like everything else 😉 I’m also obsessed with this rattan one (this save option is such a steal under $200!)! We have got a lot of cute textured pieces for our home, so I think a console table is a great place to bring that in. Which console table below is your favorite? What spaces do you want me to share more inspo on?

Hope you’re all having a great week!

Sonoma Valley with Lancome

Last week I had my first work trip of the year to Sonoma Valley (just outside of San Francisco) for the launch of Lancome‘s new Absolue collection. The Lancome team has been one of my favorite teams to work with, so it’s like catching up with old friends each time we get together. They brought out about 10 other bloggers and everyone got to bring a plus one for the getaway.  It rained most of the trip, but it didn’t even matter because it added to the relaxing ambiance of the trip.  It was so peaceful at night listening to the rain 🙂

The first day we had the most gorgeous brunch to learn about the new products. Can we talk about this flower set up though??

Their new  soft cream is now one of my favorites! It’s hard to explain but it goes from like thick to thin to thick, so it spreads easy, but it leaves your skin super moisturized like a serum.

Mountain views from our brunch!

The whole room and the Lancome products smelled like roses!

I got to bring my best friend Jen along for the ultimate girls trip 🙂

Pink sweater (sized way up to a 10 for oversized look!) | Earrings (40% off!)

It rained pretty much the entire weekend at the ranch. It reminded me so much of where I grew up in Washington (Port Angeles). It made for the perfect lazy days, listening to the rain from our room.

After the brunch they set up facials with the new collection. My face felt so hydrated, I didn’t even wear makeup that night for the dinner because I felt like my skin felt so good.

They had our bathrooms decked out with the most beautiful flower arrangements ever!

They gifted us with these amazing cashmere sets – it was the cutest bag with our names on it and inside had a blanket, socks and eye mask.  The way to my heart is all things comfy things like blankets and socks so this cashmere set was the best gift ever! ❤️

On the drive back to San Francisco we convinced our driver to stop at the Golden Gate bridge. I’ve only been to San Francisco one other time, so I was really excited to see it again!

Outfit details: Cardigan (soooo soft and cozy!) | Sunglasses | Shoes | Jen’s sunglasses | Pink sweater

Hope you guys are having an amazing week!

New Year Inspo – What I’m loving so far in 2019!

DETAILS: 1 – LIP SLEEP MASK | 2 – LANCOME ABSOLUE LINE | 3 – SWEATER | 4 – SNEAKERS | 5 – BLANKET | 6 – CORDLESS VACUUM | 7 – WORK/MOM BAG | 8 – PLANNER | 9 – SHEET MASK | 10 – PAJAMAS | 11 – CARDIGAN | 12 – NEW BOOK | 13 – BASKET

Happppppy New Year!  I know I am a little late on this post, but after taking a couple weeks off I am feeling totally refreshed and ready to get going full force into the new year!  I wanted to share some of my favorite items I have been loving already in 2019.  These are all items I have been using and loving to help keep me feeling organized, happy, uplifted and like my very best. We moved into our new house yesterday and I couldn’t be happier about it!

I shared this lip mask like a week ago on my insta stories – its seriously one of my new favorites!  Its a sleep mask for your lips, but I carry mine around with me all day and use it as chapstick.  I’m obsessed!

You probably saw last week I went to Napa with the amazing Lancome team and got to try out their new Absolue skin care line.  The new line is amazing!  I will be sharing a full blog post on my trip soon but had to include the line as one of my recent favorites.

I am still living in these Adidas UltraBoost tennis shoes. They are soooo comfy and I love all of the colors they come in!  I will definitely be wearing these to help with one of my resolutions to be more active!

This cozy blanket and cordless vacuum are for the new house! You can never have too many cozy blankets around the house 🙂 And after hearing so much about these cordless vacuums I finally ordered one and I can’t wait to see what all the hype is about!

You’ve seen me wearing this bag a few times now – its seriously the best!  I love that you can put your monogram on it and customize the size and color of it…its just all around the perfect size to use as a work bag for your laptop, notebook, etc or just as an everyday mom bag that holds all your stuff for running around.

Cody got me this planner for Christmas and it was the best gift!  Its so simple and functional and I love that I can break out my schedule hour by hour to help keep me on track. It comes in a bunch of colors!

One of my most asked about topics is definitely skin care and I am so excited to share more skin care related posts this year!  These sheet masks are 100% one of my favorite products that I am using lately. If you feel like you don’t have time for sheet masks…there’s always a way to make time!  I will wear them when I am getting stuff done around the house or even just blow drying my hair. Gotta multi task to get that beauty time in 🙂

I have been wearing this cozy cardigan so much recently and gotten a lot of questions about it so I wanted to share it asap! It is the same fabric they make their robes in so it feels like you’re literally wearing a robe, but its a cardigan so its cute and acceptable to wear out in public 😉

Baskets!!! One of my major goals for the new year is just to keep our new house looking new and keep it organized and as tidy as possible. With 3 kids and a dog this isn’t always easy – so one of my favorite tricks is to have a bunch of cute baskets like this around around the house to toss their toys and blankets in when we aren’t using them.

What’s inspiring you for this new year?!  Would love to hear your favorites!  Hope you all have been having a great 2019 so far!

Also!! I am soooo honored to be nominated for best family account for the LiketoKnow.it awards!  It would mean so much to me if you could take a quick minute to vote for our family!❤️ You can vote here 🙂

THANK YOU so much for your support over the years!! Love you all!

Hey 2019! House and Life update…

DETAILS: JEANS | HAT | COAT | SHOES | HOUSE LIGHTS

Hey guys!  Its been a minute…but I am back!  Wanted to take some extra time after the holiday to finish up things on our house and spend time with my family. It was an awesome break but I am really excited for this year and whats to come!  Since I’ve been gone for awhile, I thought I would do a quick 5 things update:

  1. We still haven’t moved into our house…but its SOOOOO close!  I know I’ve said this a couple times but I think we might be moving in this weekend! (I added a bunch of home update pics on my instagram stories so if you missed it, you can click on the home highlight reel to catch up!)
  2. A lot of you guys have asked about our exterior lights, I am so excited about how they turned out. Here’s a link to the lights.
  3. Just left on my first work trip of the year with Lancome to Sonoma! Its my first time here…any suggestions?
  4. I was looking through pics of my pregnancy announcement with Beckam today and my best friend Jen and I realized her due date coming up is the exact same day that Beckam was due back in March of 2014!  B came 5 days early and she is measuring a week ahead, so how crazy would it be if her new baby boy has the same birthday as B?!
  5.  Our internet has been out at our house for over a month, and they keep saying they will send a new router and they haven’t yet!!! Freaking Century Link…don’t use them!! There are so many shows we have been wanting to watch on Netflix and haven’t been able to catch up on!  But we finally watched Birdbox…I normally hate scary movies and to be honest I had to cover my eyes a couple of times, but I loved it!  I love a good suspenseful movie. What have you been watching on Netflix lately?
