My Most-Worn Handbags At Every Budget

You guys know how much I love mixing high and low-end – it’s the best way to get the most bang for your buck while still elevating your wardrobe. The same goes for handbags! And honestly they are probably the best pieces to mix and match. I truly think the key to completing a look is with a great bag and I found so many this year that I wanted to share a round-up of my most worn handbags.

I found this Saint Laurent canvas handbag this summer and immediately fell in love. The neutral fabrics are so beautiful and I like how this handbag can also carry into fall. The mini Fendi bucket bag with the sheer fabric is so fun and such a statement bag. Also this DeMellier off white bag is so cute to carry to a dinner with you or going out, it’s small but not too small to fit your phone and keys still.

The best designer look-a-like saddle bag that I’ve been wearing a ton lately. Comes with a long strap too so you can wear it two ways and the quality is amazing for under $40! I have both the black and the tan color but find I wear the black the most since the tan is a little more orangey and doesn’t go with as much. This bag also just became available in a super pretty cream color!

One of my favorite purchases ever. This mini pink Jacquemus bag adds a fun statement to any outfit! I love pairing it with more casual outfits to really pull the look together and feel more dressed up. I recently purchased the brown one too since I’ve loved my pink one so much, the brown is such a pretty color for fall and will go with so many different looks.

My most recent bag purchase for fall and I’m obsessed. It has a short and long strap so you can wear it both ways. These handbags comes in one size larger and also a petite size and also comes in a couple other colors. I love this pale blue one so much too!

Still loving the 90’s shoulder bags! I found these two this summer and got the cream and then green color. These handbags are such great quality for a great price.

I love how this bag dresses up any outfit I’m in and it’s under $40! It’s the perfect size and the neutral color makes it super versatile.

Love this straw crossbody bag with the gold chain strap. I recently wore it on our trip to Florida, its the perfect beachy dinner bag to fit your essentials for a night out. Such a great handbag that will carry into next summer as well!

3 Pairs of Denim You Won’t Believe Are Under $100

Denim season is upon us! I’m loving this shift to looser, relaxed fit denim. I have been dejunking my closet of styles I don’t wear as much making room for new silhouettes. Here are some of my 3 favorite fall denim trends that you won’t believe are under $100.

WIDE-LEG RELAXED

This pair was actually the most affordable of the three and a huge win. I really wanted a relax fit with no distressing. I love the length – I think the length is probably the trickiest part about this denim trend, especially when you factor in shoes/boots. This pair hits the perfect length, especially with a pretty strappy sandal underneath. (Love this one – also an amazing price point under $150!)

Another season, another pair of Levi’s. If you’re not quite ready to embrace the wide leg trend, just take your mom jeans to another level with a straight, relaxed fit. These are cropped so they are super easy to pair with your favorite ankle boots or lace-up combat boots.

Im so excited about two toned denim. I actually had got a pair like 4 years ago and it’s one of my favorites, but I accidentally washed them on hot last year and they shrunk 😭. I had been looking for a similar pair FOREVER, so I am so excited to see the two tone making it’s way back. This pair from above is under $100! It also has the asymmetric cross/button detail at the waist. These will get you thousands of compliments this season! I ordered a 26 and they are a little loose so going to exchange for 25. If you want a looser fit then go true to size, if you want a little more fitted I would say size down. Love them!

5 Fall Boot Trends You Need to Try

Pumpkin spice everything, cozy layers and outerwear, chunky knits… of all the things I have to look forward to in the fall, boots are probably the top of my list. I always get excited for boot season and love styling them, dressed up, dressed down, lace-up boots, tall boots, western boots – I love them all! And the combat look is still one of my favorite fall boot trends. Keep it feeling current with a cool hardware detail – can’t wait to bring these back out this year!

WEAR THEM WITH: Pretty much anything! Oversized tees with biker shorts, long line blazers, or any shorter looks take on an edgy, cool vibe with lace-up boots, but there’s no wrong way to wear your lace-up boots.

And of course you can’t go wrong with chelsea boots. This one was one of my favorites from last year and it was almost always out of stock – so glad they brought it back this season! I’m still obsessed. Also got these boots to wear for the upcoming season – love the ribbed sock detail with the platform, chelsea boot look – makes it so versatile and easy to style with any look.

5 Fall Looks I’m Loving From Shopbop

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone’s week has been off to a great start. The kids just started school yesterday which is so crazy to think, summer flew by! Now that it’s this time of year, I’ve been eyeing all the fall pieces. I put together some fall outfits from my recent Shopbop finds that I wanted to share with you guys. Let me know what you think!

And of course, fall wouldn’t be complete without one of my favorite outerwear trends – Sherpa! This sherpa jacket is so cozy and cute – sizes are going quick! A sherpa jacket is such a fall staple for me each year, it’s so versatile and looks good with almost everything, not to mention the coziest piece you’ll own.

I haven’t been loving skirts the last few years if you guys have noticed, but this years take on denim skirts and cute pleated skirts has me back on track. Also the sleeves on this white sweater. 🤩 This is such a perfect transitional piece going into fall because it’s not too heavy and can be worn alone but also can be layered underneath outerwear when it does get super cold. Altogether it makes for the perfect daytime casual fall ensemble!

Matching athleisure sets are something I wear year round, so I love adding a few accessories to transition them for fall! This color is so perfect for fall and one of my favorite layers right now is the half zip pullover. I own multiple already and wear nonstop. Love the look of this cream pullover (under $100) layered over any and all matching sets! I also just got these Reebok sneakers for under $100 and love the pretty blues. This gorgeous pale blue mini bag to pair with the whole outfit is the perfect way to make your pastels work for fall!

The western trend we saw this summer is definitely carrying into fall and I love this fringe jacket and how versatile it can be all throughout the season! This ribbed knit dress is stunning and the perfect piece to go from day to night. It also has the prettiest back detail and so flattering on any body type. Love it paired with some tall tan boots for a daytime look or heels for a night out.

August Amazon Outfit Haul

Hi besties! This month I found so many amazing pieces from Amazon and wanted to share a roundup of some of my favorite outfits and most-worn items throughout the month. The cutest side slit denim and of course SHOES 🤩 I love finding little Amazon gems.

I lovee everything about this outfit. The jeans were such a good find, they are the oversized 90s denim with side slits and a looser waist fit. They are under $40 and I wear size small. I paired them with something tighter on top and this white corset bustier top is perfect with it. It’s under $30 and I wear size 2-4. I found these pink square toe heels at the beginning of the month and have been obsessed! They are under $40 and are great quality and comfortable to wear.

I paired them with this white corset top again and these cute transparent heels that are under $40 and I’ve been wearing a ton! Accessorized with this tan hair clip from this set that matched the saddle bag I have in tan (under $40). I have it in the black color as well, such a cute bag and great quality.

For Cody’s outfit his shirt and shorts both get amazing reviews and are under $30, he’s wearing a size large in the shirt and size 34 in the shorts. I love the texture of his button up!

This is the sand color but this sweatshirt comes in 18 other colors too! I’ve had these blue light glasses for awhile and still love them when I’m on screens all day, they make such a difference! They are under $20!

MARA: COW PRINT SWIMSUIT (UNDER $25)

Matching mom and daughter cow print swimsuits from Amazon, so fun for while we we’re on our trip! This cow print gives me all the flashbacks from my childhood. I’m wearing a medium in bikini and small in the coverup skirt and Mara is wearing size 12Y in her swimsuit. My sunnies are under $15 and such a staple pair to have and my sandals are Stuart Weitzman.

The Amazon tank that has been on repeat weekly! It’s under $20 and I wear size small. These are the comfiest denim, they are stretchy but still hold their shape. I got the size 26 since they do run a little small (usually between a 25-26 size.) These nude strappy square toe heels are so cute on and I just ordered them in black as well! They are under $40. My favorite bag of the moment is this black saddle bag thats under $40! It comes with both a short and long strap so you can switch up the look of it.

Mom & Son Date Night Ideas

Picnics – such a great mom & son date night

As Beckam has gotten older, I’ve noticed that Cody always has a million cool ideas of things to do with Beckam. Riding motor bikes, soccer-bouncing contests, ninja obstacle courses – especially now that Beckam cit old enough to keep up with Cody. They share an interest in a lot of the same things so it’s easy for them to find things to do. (And it’s the same with me and Mara. We can always go get pedicures or go shopping.)

I love the relationship Cody and Beckam have so much but it’s also made me realize that with the boys, I have to put more effort into activities that don’t come second nature to me so I wanted to think of creative ways to spend time together and make new memories this year. So that’s the back story behind why I made this list of mom & son date night activities – I wanted to have a list of cool, fun ideas of things that we could do together so every time he says, “Mom, do you want to play with me?” I have a whole list of ideas to pull from instead of just wasting time trying to brainstorm ideas.

I shared the Q&A on Insta stories a week or so ago and there were so many great ideas so I put together a little graphic of bucket list activities for you guys to print out or just save to your phones for a quick and easy reference point. Hope this list is helpful! I made it specifically with mom & son time in mind but it really could work for girls too if you’re looking for more ideas!

What I Packed For Florida

Nothing like squeezing end some end-of-summer travel right before school starts! We’ve been making up for lost time this summer and wanted to get in as many family beach trips as possible. I’d heard so many amazing things about the Destin/Seaside area of Florida and couldn’t wait to try it out! And I’m not quite ready to give up on my summer wardrobe yet haha so I wanted to share what I packed for our beach getaway with you guys in case you’re soaking up every last second of summer like me!

SWIMWEAR

This summer has been all about affordable swimwear for me. I feel like I’ve been adding to my swimsuit collection like I used to add to my shoe/bag collection – it’s become an obsession! But I’ve found so many amazing suits under $50 recently that I don’t feel one bit guilty about it. I’ve had this strapless bikini for years and love the colors and high-waisted fit – flattering on every body type and under $30. Also love this blue paisley one (under $30). The bottoms hit a little lower but still super flattering cut. And of course this tan and ribbed one which I have shared on repeat and was another staple on my last Florida trip! Own it in multiple colors and can’t get over how good the quality is for under $20.

BEACH ESSENTIALS

One of my favorite looks this season is a ribbed set under a long, oversized linen top. Such a chic combo, especially with a pretty sandal and sun hat. I own this set in multiple colors (under $30 – also brought this last time we came to Florida 🙂 and it’s soooo good!

DRESS UP

I always pack a few pieces that I can dress up for nights we go out to dinner. Love the cut of this dress – looks so much more expensive than it is. So easy to dress up with some pretty heels (obsessed with the heel on this pink pair) or dress down for a day time look with some neon sneakers (these are the newest addition to my sneaker collection – love the colors!!) This romper is also one of my favorite Amazon finds this summer – it’s under $30 and looks like a dress, but as a romper it’s super easy to wear with kids. Just thrown on heels and a pretty bag to transition to a night look.

TRENDS & STATEMENT PIECES

Also been digging the revival of the 90s trends with these wide leg, slit denim (under $40). If it feels like it’s been a decade since you wore these last, you might be right haha. Keep it feeling 2021 with a fitted long sleeve top (this one is 🤩) or a cropped knit – love the colors on this one. Happy Wednesday guys, I hope you’re having an amazing week! We just got back from our trip to Montana and it was so nice to spend some time as a family and be outdoors. I love these studded sandals because they are under $50 and a super versatile sandal you can dress up with summer dresses or keep it more casual! They run true to size and also come in a pink and blush color.

I’m still loving this green floral romper as much as you guys! It’s under $35 which is an amazing price and the quality is great. I’m wearing size small and also have it in the brown as well. I’ve worn this so much this summer and love how easy it is to dress up or down!

Week after week, Ollie’s navy tie-dye set has been a top seller! He wore it on the 4th of July and has worn it so much since then that I ordered the gray version too! It’s under $20 and is also available in other colors.

My most-loved ribbed racerback tank has been on repeat weekly for me! It pairs with so many outfits and I have the white and black colors too. I sized down to a size small in this tank since it’s super stretchy. Such a great wardrobe staple to have and also will layer well with other pieces once the fall weather begins!

I’ve been loving the oversized blazer look and wanted to find an affordable lightweight blazer I could style for a summer outfit. I found this men’s blazer on Amazon for under $100 and went with the XL for a looser fit. This blazer totally works as a unisex piece you can share with your significant other! This nude dress is under $30 and super versatile for everyday wear. I love that the side ties are adjustable to so you can loosen or tighten depending on the length you want it. I wanted a dress that hit at the same length as the blazer and this was so perfect to be able to adjust to the exact length that I wanted. I was blown away by this designer look-a-like saddle bag I found – the quality is amazing! I ordered both the tan and black but thought the black looked a little more expensive in real life. It’s under $50 and has two straps so you can wear it as a crossbody with the longer strap or as a shoulder bag with the shorter strap.

I’ve always found such great matching sets for Ollie on Amazon that are affordable, super cute, and comfortable for him to wear. Ollie’s cream set is under $20 and comes in 7 other colors. The fabric is super soft and he wears the size 18-24 months. Also obsessed with his mini white Nikes! I have a major obsession with babies in Nikes haha.
