Tommy Hilfiger Look at London Fashion Week

Happy Friday! I’m excited to be sharing these looks that Cody and I wore to the Tommy Hilfiger show at LFW last week! The Tommy Hilfiger show is ALWAYS my favorite show of the season so I was really really excited when they flew us out for the event. It was actually my first time to London Fashion Week and Tommy Hilifger’s first time presenting in London, so I was really honored to be able to attend.

The theme for the show was a rocker 80’s vibe so I wanted to play up the Rolling Stone’s tee with a feminine but old school rocker vibe. We are seeing plaid everywhere this season (Tommy released a bunch of great plaid pieces this season – obsessed with this blazer and this coat) so I went with this pretty plaid coat with the bold fur trim paired with a graphic tee.

The show as always didn’t disappoint! The collection was so much different than any of the other’s he’s done before. A darker color palette than his typical red, white and blue. Lot’s of blacks and urban style pieces. There was this black leather jacket with bold red fur trim that was my favorite from the show! SO OBSESSED! We are working on finishing a video we shot for the show so more to come there! At the end of the show the chainsmokers (one of my favorites!) performed and it since the show was a smaller intimate event we were able to get right to the front! I was fan girling 🙂

This might be my favorite coat I have ever owned! I’m obsessed with the color-blocked paneling (love how the white belt pops!) and how long it is. It’s an investment piece but one you will not only keep for ever, but it will give you chills every time you wear it. So good! I love how it looks with jeans and a white sneaker but it’s also the perfect overcoat for a feminine dress.

This jacket is under $100 and I’m obsessed! I love the bright kelly green which is such a fun pick me up during coat season. The cropped cut makes it feel like an 80s throwback – love it!

How fun is this bright pink fur trim! I love the unexpected addition of color against this classic camel coat. It makes it such an exciting layer that you’ll want to wear with everything.

The Statement Trend I’m Obsessed with This Season

Happy Monday guys!! I’m back home after for a while after New York and London Fashion Week and can’t get over all the amazing looks I’ve seen, both on the runway and the streets. I could seriously sit and people watch for hours – everyones outfits are so amazing!

One of my favorite big trends this season is the bold colors we are seeing everywhere – color always makes such a statement! I was instantly obsessed with this dress when I saw it – the rich orange tones with the blues and green make it perfect for the season and so unique. Wrap dresses are also really flattering on all figures!! Style it with a blazer for the office or a leather jacket for a night out – you can really make it work for a ton of occasions. Also love the mod feel with this white boot (last seen here). They are already one of my favorite shoe buys for fall and I want to wear them with everything!

Daily Style Diary: September 18th, 2017 – Airport Style From Day to Night

My travel look from a few days ago when we made it to London. You guys know how much I love my joggers and sneakers for traveling – I prefer being cozy even for a domestic flight, and even more so on a 10 hour red eye flight over seas. The second we touched down we had to head to our fitting for the show, so we didn’t have time to change before our first stop. Luckily it was a perfect, cool fall day so I added a classic overcoat and it completely transformed my look to make it work for our busy afternoon. I love the button detail! A ton of you guys were asking about where it’s from – it’s a couple years old. They don’t carry it anymore so here are a couple similar options here and here. And I’m obsessed with this red version!! I just ordered it 😍😍. I’m realizing fast, I’m developing an obsession with long coats this season – I want to throw them over everything!

Classic Black and Camel

These boots! Love the velvet with the wide leg – so good!

London feels like true fall! Cody lived here for a couple years before we were married so it’s always special coming back with him. We are staying in the financial district and everyone’s style here is so classic. They look beautifully put together and beyond effortless. I love coming to Europe and being inspired by the fashion and culture! I always go home with new style ideas – it’s like every trip influences my style and helps it evolve more, and this trip is all about those timeless pieces.

If there’s one classic color combo that says sophistication it’s camel and black. I love a head to toe black outfit with a camel jacket over so I was obsessed with this one when I found it. Love the length! I also found these black boots at Saks and knew they would work perfectly for London. I didn’t have anything that hit right under the knee like this pair and with the heel and velvet they are a statement piece, so it’s perfect to add to a neutral color combo. I’m also obsessed with combat boots!! I just ordered these timeless black Stuart Weitzman boots and these gorgeous statement Guccis.

Hey guys! Cody and I just got out to London for the Tommy Hilfiger show tomorrow and I can’t wait! It’s always one of my favorite events of the season and it’s being held in London this year so you know it’s going to be amazing. Can’t wait to see what they have in store!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons (which I know I’ve said a million times – are you tired of it yet 😉 but one of my favorite parts is watching the leaves change colors! Utah falls are always really short, so whenever I travel during the fall I get really nervous all the leaves will change colors and fall off the trees before I get home to see it haha. So here’s hoping it doesn’t happen before we get back!

This sweater look familiar? I just got it a couple weeks ago and have already worn it multiple times (last seen here). Also love this quilted bomber! It’s really oversized, so you can size down if you want something more fitted, but it’s perfect to be able to layer over your thick knits. Hey guys! I wore this dress to an event last week with Shopbop. I’m such a sucker for pretty dresses that I’ll look for any excuse to get dressed up! This one has the prettiest peekaboo detail at the waist (also got this one). To be honest I didn’t try to zip it up when I first tried it on so it took a little elbow grease to get it zipped all the way haha. I was laying on the floor bending every which way as Whitney tried to zip it – we were laughing so hard!! I realized after that it’s Australian sizing so I would suggest sizing up if you are used to US sizes :). It’s a great piece that you can dress up for an event or wear with a leather jacket and ankle boots to make it work for a date night out.

The Best Hat For Fall

You guys! Fall is in the air here in NY and I couldn’t be more excited! I love that chill in the air and cuddling up in cozy sweaters. I’m obsessed with this turtleneck sweater. It’s super oversized and beyond comfortable. I’ve also been dying to get a good baker boy hat and just got 2 that I have already worn – hands down the best hat for fall! They are an amazing fall accessory and make any outfit feel instantly more cozy. This cashmere one is super soft and one of the first hats that didn’t give me a headache when I first wore it! Must-Have Denim Under $100

Happy Friday Fam! This season is going to be all about denim so I wanted to share one of my favorite new trends – two-tone denim! It’s a huge trend this fall – I can’t get enough. These jeans have an exaggerated cuffed hem that’s unlike any other pair in my closet (which is hard to do with denim at this point – I have so many pairs!). I love the light distressing and the casual boyfriend fit. You can also adjust the hem so they can be cropped for an ankle boot for heels or worn longer. They are also under $100 so it’s a great pair to add to your wardrobe.

Two Pieces to Transition Your Favorite Looks into Fall

These shorts are on sale under $50!

I’m in major denial that summer is over! This whole year has flown by, it’s crazy! This time of year is my favorite for fashion when you start to mix summer favorites with new fall finds. . These pink linen shorts (last worn here) are on sale under $50 and are one of my favorites, plus with blush being such a big color this fall they are so easy to transition.

There are two pieces that can transform almost any summer look: a cardigan and ankle boots I love the slouchy, cozy look of a long cardigan with shorts, either cut-offs for a casual look or dressed up like with this pretty linen pair. I also love getting to pair ankle booties with shorter hems, whether it’s shorts or simple shift dresses. You can’t go wrong by adding an ankle boot – just choose one with a heel if you want to dress up for a night out.

If there’s one thing that always makes me smile it’s flowersssss! I would travel the world for pretty flower fields. It’s kind of a joke in our family because I will call Cody soooo excited when I find new flower spots. And typical boy, he’s never as excited as me. But this one was a dream! We packed some of our favorite snacks in a basket and enjoyed one of the last summer afternoons surrounded by flowers and the beautiful sunset.

Oui by Yoplait just came out with a French-style yogurt and the whole family is obsessed. Yogurt is a family favorite that we eat daily and is always in our refrigerator. We are always mixing yogurt in our smoothies or with granola but the new Oui ones are so good on their own. I haven’t tried them all yet (they come in 8 flavors) but my favorite so far is the coconut one! B’s favorite flavor is vanilla. He loves vanilla everything. Also how cute are the glass jars they come in! They are perfect to wash and reuse for packing lunches or cute little vases for blooms. Have you guys tried them yet? What do you think??
