I am always experimenting with new skincare products and get so excited to try new products that the majority of the time I will try a new product when I run out of one. There are a few that I will repurchase when I run out so I wanted to share a few the recent products I’ve used up and am ordering again.
These vegan gummies are the best! They lock moisture into your skin and boost your hydration which I love because it’s super dry here in Utah and my skin will take all the water it can get. It also helps stimulate your natural collagen to make your skin plump and give it that glow. You guys know I’m obsessed with hyaluronic acid and vitamin c, and these gummies are like an extra dose along with my skincare products. Just reordered!
I added this one to my skincare routine this past fall (my post here) and was a little skeptical – I had seen so many people post and rave about it but I couldn’t imagine it being worth the investment. And now I’m one of the people adding my rave reviews, haha 👋🏼. It completely balances and brightens your skin that immediately just soaks into your pores leaves you with the smoothest/glowiest skin ever! It is an investment, but if you skip your next facial and instead put that aside for this serum, your skin will thank you.
This is now one of my hoy grail products. This moisturizer has changed my skin. I am on the verge of finishing my first bottle and already reordering. It’s expensive, yes, but I have seen such a difference in my skin. Can’t recommend enough!
Ok this isn’t a new buy but I just ran out so had to add to my list. Once you try SkinCeuticals, it’s hard to ever go back. They are another investment brand but the results are always well worth the price tag. I love this hydrating foam cleanser! I’ve been using it for a while and it’s super refreshing and gentle. This one has glycerin and cucumber extract that calms your skin.
Below are a few more of my skincare favorites:

5 Pieces To Keep You Cozy at Home
Cozy mornings at home.
Maybe my favorite picture of Ollie yet – his serious face kills me!
Happy Monday guys! I’ve been getting DMs about home stuff recently (probably because we’ve been home so much 🙂 so I wanted to share bedroom details and also some of my favorite pieces that make for the coziest mornings lounging around the house.
I just got this lounge set from Summersalt and they are the most amazing ribbed pieces. They were backordered for a few weeks, but now they are in stock and shipping! They come in multiple colors and pieces – tanks, tees, long sleeve tops, pants, shorts, etc. I shared a try-on haul on stories yesterday so you can check out all the pieces here before they expire. Soooo soft and I’m addicted to all things ribbed. The striped pieces are super cute and I love how chic and high end the solid black set looks. (You can also get $10 towards purchase with code: HELLOFASHION10 for orders over $95!)
I’ve shared my Cozy Earth bedding obsession a few times but it’s really that good. Their bamboo comforter is an investment, but once you upgrade you will regret not doing so earlier. So good! I’ve seen lots of stories from those of you who bought it and love as much as I go. It’s actually on sale right now too on their semi-annual sale which I didn’t even realize until I went to grab a link haha. (Their bamboo sheet set is on sale too – love!)
While we were in our rental house (while our current home was being built) Cody and I had just a simple bed frame that didn’t have a headboard. I didn’t realize how much I would miss having an upholstered headboard but once we moved into our new place, this bed was one of our first new furniture additions. I love the color and it’s super comfortable. It was a really good price point and a spontaneous purchase, so part of me thought it might end up in a guest room but we love it so much that it stuck!
We went with a really oversized rug in our bedroom to bring some some texture and warmth to the wood floors in our room, but what really made the biggest difference is a thick, plush rug pad. We went with a really thick one and there’s no better feeling when your feet first touch the floor in the morning and sink into something so soft!
Not necessarily cozy, but this mirror is one of my favorite pieces in our room. It brings so much light reflecting from our windows and the mornings I’m woken up by sunrise reflecting around the room are always my favorite!

9 Pieces I Can’t Believe Are Still In Stock In The NSale
Today the NSale opened to the public and while a lot of pieces have sold out, I’m surprised at how many great pieces are still available and some that have been restocked. Here are some of my favorites you can still snag on sale!
Cannot believe they have any sizes left of these jeans but I don’t think they will last long. Amazing price point and love the loose fit and distressing.
Ollie has outgrown our travel stroller so we have been using this one – it’s so lightweight and $200 off during the sale. We also got this car seat which is the lightest I’ve ever used! This compact stroller is also part of the Anniversary Sale and gets amazing reviews.
I always end up stocking up on cardigans during the Anniversary Sale and this was one of my favorites. It has a few sizes left all of the color options. Love the ribbed hems and pockets and this one is under $50.
This is one of those products I would (and have) pay full price for. I have multiple of these silk pillowcases and swear by them for hair and skincare. Also another great gift idea for your mom/MIL, sisters, friends, etc!
The BarefootDreams blankets are always one of the highlights of the Anniversary Sale but these Ugg blankets are just as good – so soft! These are a great one to stock up on for Christmas gifts while they are on sale. Also love this faux fur blanket on sale under $100 that comes in 4 gorgeous colors and these are an amazing price point under $50.
Love the croc texture on these Chelsea boots. I love a good heel, but more often than not I find myself grabbing a good flat boot to throw on. This one is an amazing price under $100.
My go-to brow product! This stuff is a cult favorite for a reason and right now you can get the brow wiz and gel together basically for the price of one!
Couldn’t believe this one is fully stocked! I got it in both black and white – love how simple it is but it’s also a great cropped, casual fit.
You can also see more of my Nsale picks here in this post. Always keep checking in because in the past they have restocked some pieces throughout the sale!
Below are some more pieces from the Annivesary NSale:

The Best of The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Hey guys! I wanted to share the ‘Best of’ multiple categories from the Nordstrom Sale, from footwear to beauty to home. Let me know if there are other categories you guys want to see a round-up from – men, baby, bags… whatever! Starting off with the Best of the Anniversary Sale… shoes!
What is fall without beautiful outerwear? This season the Nordstrom Sale has some beautiful pieces. I was in teddy coats non-stop last year and so grateful they are back! Love this one that comes in both the prettiest brown and grey. If you haven’t invested in a timeless camel blazer or tailored coat yet, there’s no excuse! You will wear them forever. I also love a plaid print in outwear pieces – this grey one would be a super versatile pick and I’m dying over the color combo of this one!
The Anniversary Sale is always a good time to stock up on beauty products, especially if you have a splurge brand you only pull the trigger on when it’s on sale (like hair tools or the NuFace) and also for products you use year round. I use Oribe and Necessaire products all the time – they smell amazing and are one of those splurges that make your beauty routine feel a little more luxurious. I also love stocking up on beauty products for little stocking stuffers or Christmas gifts for friends. This NARS Lip kit comes with the cutest clutch! Love! Also this perfume set – a great gift on it’s own or split them up for stocking stuffers for friends!
Hello daily uniform! Nothing is as tempting to me as comfy sportswear and a good pair of joggers so I rounded up some of my favorites. Whether you are the type to hit the gym or to run errands in comfort, these pieces can do it all! This tank is such a good fit and comes in 5 colors – even better it’s under $25. Also obsessed with this shade of pink… dying! These joggers get amazing reviews (also love this lighter shade). This Nike windbreaker is one of my favorite finds from the sale, such a good color combo! You can never have too many Nike layers. Also love this cozy sweatshirt and the zip-up version here.
As much as I love sweats, part of me is so excited to get back into denim this fall. These distressed jeans are one of my favorites from the sale. I love the wide leg fit and distressing plus they are under $50. They also come in this lighter wash. I’m also obsessed with the ribcage Levi’s cut and this pair is also included in the sale.
No time like when we are all staying home 24/7 to get cozy with some new home additions, haha! Honestly though I have been soaking up the extra time to nest and have loved looking for new home additions. I can’t say no to a thick, plush robe and love the look of this chenille one. Also obsessed with this leopard throw! This brand has the softest throws and tons of great colors this season. Another find from the sale was these towels – they get amazing reviews and come in the prettiest colors! Have you guys tried them? Also drooling over this toaster – who else is obsessed with all the retro Smeg kitchen accessories?! Lastly, obsessed with all the options in this pajama top and shorts set – so good and budget-friendly.
We always talk about the importance of protecting your skin from environmental factors, and I’m always slathering on my SPF but turns out… it’s so much more! I just recently learned that only 25% of your aging process is predetermined by nature – the other 75% is environmental! If you were getting graded, you could literally score 0 on the natural aging factor and still get a passing grade just by killing it in the environmental factors department, like diet, lifestyle, etc. Here are some habits to start (and stop!) for better skin.
1. Start with Sleep: We always hear about the importance of sleep for your mental, physical, and emotional health but it doesn’t end there. Your body removes dead blood cells and toxins while you’re asleep, so not getting enough zzz’s can take a toll on your skin. It also decreases your skin’s moisture levels and pH level, so every hour of sleep matters!
2. Get picky about your pillowcase. While we’re on the subject, pillowcases are prone to get overlooked but they make a big difference! Make sure to wash your pillowcase a couple times a week. I also swear by silk pillowcases – great for skincare and hair!
3. Be religious about your skincare regimen. It’s honestly like getting ready for the day – I always feel better and more confident when I do it. I love trying new products, but there are some products that you will learn to always repurchase when you finish off the bottle. One that has been around forever and just keeps getting better with time is Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum. It’s their nightly serum that supports your skin’s natural repair and it’s more effective than ever. They just launched their new formula where they added a new Chronolux Power Signal Technology for fast repair + collagen-boosting power, firming, pore minimizing, and overnight radiance. The best results always come over time, but my skin looked radiant overnight. It also locks in moisture for 72 hours. If you’re tired and too lazy for your full night routine, just cleanse, apply this and a moisturizer to lock it in and you’re ready for bed.
4. Clean your makeup brushes regularly. Like pillowcases, your makeup brushes can accumulate oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells which can cause break outs. Clean them at least once a week to avoid it – your makeup will thank you!
5. Bluetooth or bust. When you think about how attached we are to our phones (and how they follow us everywhere), it should come as no surprise that they are covered in bacteria. Keep that screen as far away from your face as possible! Stick to your airpods/headphones and speaker phone when you can.
6. SPF, SPF, SPF. I can’t say this enough but, SPF! In your moisturizer, foundation, or on its own, you can never over-do it with SPF!
7. Hands off! One of the biggest habits worth breaking is touching your face. You don’t realize how often you touch your face until you start keeping count. Try to keep a tally throughout your day and you will start to catch yourself doing it and be able to break the habit.
8. Watching what you eat. Your diet and nutrition make a huge impact on your skin so start from the inside out! Pay attention to which foods trigger breakouts – you might have food sensitivities you aren’t aware of! For me it’s brownies lol. Literally every time I eat brownies my skin breaks out. Make sure you are trying to incorporate anti-aging foods like blueberries, broccoli, avocado, spinach, and nuts. (also we all know it but don’t forget to drink lots of water too!)
The list for habits for better skin could go on forever but these are some of the easiest to start with! Let me know in comments if you guys have any other skin swaps that have helped you with your skin.
Hey guys! I wanted to share some his & hers date night outfits with some of Cody’s and my picks from the Anniversary Sale. All these pieces can be worn and styled multiple ways and you can also check out my last post here with more outfit ideas.
Any date I can get away with wearing a comfy sweatshirt is a win in my book. I love the full sleeves on this one (on sale under $25) to make it more of a statement – just add a pair of sleek loafers to dress it up. I also love this understated polo on Cody. Between a fitted polo and chinos, your S/O can go straight from running errands to a romantic date night. White sneakers (Cody loved this pair!) are also such a versatile option for guys – cuff up your chinos and throw on a tee for a day time look or you can throw on trousers and a blazer to transition to night.
Cody and I love to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air with the family. I love this minimalist Nike tee (got it in multiple colors) and these sneakers are SO GOOD. They are amazingly comfortable and I love the silhouette – it’s a chunky sole that’s so in right now without the bulkiness. This would be a great look gof ra fun active date night, like playing pickle ball or doing on a sunset hike.
Also love these Nikes Cody found during the sale – such a good graphic texture. He also got these Nike shorts which have the coolest colorblock detail and come in 3 colors.
Even though it’s 100 degrees out, I still can’t wait for fall! There’s nothing better than chunky sweaters on a cold day and better yet, they are the easiest piece to style! Love the blush neutral tones and striped sleeve of this sweater paired with these wide leg jeans (on sale under $50) and high-top converse.
Another reason to look forward to fall fashion: versatile outerwear. If you’re going to keep one coat in your car to be able to throw on over any look, make it this one. As a neutral it works with anything, but it’s also a chic layer over sportswear and just as good with your 9-to-5 office look. I also love boot season!! The possibilities are endless. This is the perfect chelsea boot that you can pair with jeans or with some sheer tights and biker shorts for a more fashion forward look.
A guy’s favorite dress up shirt: anything short sleeved. I love the casual but still put together feel on guys and there are tons of short sleeve button up options included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The micro-dot prints are everywhere for guys this fall and I am fully on board. Love this one that Cody’s picked out and also both color combinations on this one.
Below are some more his & hers date night outfit pieces you can shop from the Anniversary Sale. Let me know which look is more ‘you’ below in comments!

Nordstrom Sale Try On Haul: My Favorite Buys
Nordstrom sale try on haul time! I wanted to drop it down this year and not show a million outfits but more staple items and at good price points so almost everything is under $100 and they are pieces you can wear a lot of different ways! Also a lot of loungewear since things aren’t really “back to normal” yet and I know so many of us are working from home.
This coat, in the one color and silhouette that has never gone out of style, is a style staple. Whether you layer it over a dress for date night, trousers for the office, or a simple cropped tee with denim, it’s the more effortless outerwear piece. This wool one will be in your wardrobe rotation for years and years to come.
Size: Wearing Size M – Size up for less of a bodycon fit
Sale Price: $45.90 (Regular Price: $69)
Love this cute ribbed dress under $50. The high neckline and slit are the perfect combo! These ribbed midi dresses are like a unicorn – they are just as easy to dress up with heels as to dress down in sneakers. (Also comes in black and has a cute cut out in the back.)
The loafer selection at the Nordstrom Sale just gets better and better every year! I’m obsessed with the gold detailing on this pair to dress them up a little. They come in 5 colors (all so good!) and are under $100. Also love this pair for a more traditional loafer look
I would be adding this pink Nike tee to the cart even if it wasn’t part of the sale, but the price tag makes it even better. I love the graphic details and the pink on pink is a fun departure from the typical neutrals – also it’s a great oversized fit, just make sure you size down if you don’t want it too loose.
The silhouette of the season is no doubt anything with full sleeves – it transforms any sweatshirt from simple to special. This one has a beautiful pleated sleeve detail and is under $25 (also comes in pink). Also love the fit of this one (under $100 and comes in 5 colors).
I think Topshop is the runaway winner in the boyfriend denim category this year – how good is this pair?! They are the perfect fit and I love the wide leg. Also comes in this lighter wash – both under $50!
Let’s be honest, my shopping cart is never complete without comfy loungewear. I tried this pair on and did not want to take them off (love both the mocha and grey!). They are a steal at under $25.
My white, hightop platform Converse from a couple years ago are still one of my most asked about items. Love the gold hardware on this pair – I have a feeling they will be a favorite for years to come! They are perfect with joggers, denim, or cut-offs shorts.
Love this sweatshirt dressed up with denim or in a more loungewear look with joggers. The full sleeves are a total game changer! Can’t believe this one is under $25.
The tan version of the joggers above – honestly need them both! They are so soft and really budget-friendly under $25 so I don’t feel guilty about picking up both colors.
I always stock up on all things Free People during the Anniversary Sale, but especially their knits and sweaters. This one is super soft and comfortable (and comes in 4 colors!). Long-hemmed sweaters are going to be huge this fall. So good worn as a sweater dress or I also love a minimalist biker short to keep it simple and chic.
A major closest staple which is newer to the game is the biker short. This pair isn’t part of the Anniversary Sale, but it’s too good not to include. I also got this Nike pair of Biker shorts – both are super cute! If you haven’t jumped on this trend yet, now is the time! You can also dress them up with a belted blazer and combat boots for a major trend moment.
I’m loving the longline sports bras we are seeing this season. They are super comfortable and there are so many great prints and color options that will completely transform your workout wear. Love this one and also comes in the prettiest water color print!
These are already selling out in sizes – would definitely suggest a pair if you can get your hands on some! I have a feeling biker shorts will be bigger than ever this fall.

Click exact size and color you want, and ADD TO WISHLIST.
You can break your wishlists down to certain lists too for easier shopping.
You can easily view your lists and items you have already selected and when sale opens up boom its all right there.
I wanted to share some of my favorites today, some of these items are tried and true favorites I have used for years and some of the items are already on my own wishlist!
Baby: The lightest and best carseat on the market (this is one we have for ollie) is on MAJOR SALE! We have two different strollers and Ollie is just about outgrown his Doona so we have been using the Nuna again. Both strollers are great but the Nuna has more storage and the carseat itself is A LOT lighter.
Beauty: This body wash is a favorite, stock up while it’s on sale. Olaplex will transform your hair, used it for years, I have been out for a couple months and keep forgetting to buy it going to stock up. And these brushes are cute and pink and my friend Marisa who does my makeup has a couple of them so I need 🙂
Shoes: I honestly feel like they knocked it out of the park with shoes this year. I have these shoes on my wishlist, they are BEAUTIFUL! I have seen them in real life and they are even better in real life. Mark my words they are going to be sold out fast. They look high end and I don’t wear heels nearly as much as I used to so these are great for fashion and mom mode. I also got these cute nike sneakers. And obsessed with these platform sneakers.
Home: Get me every soft blanket there is and something warm and cozy and I’m ready for fall. Also how cute is this toaster??!
Clothes: Can never say no to a good pair of sweats. These are under $30 and have both colors on my wishlist. This cute cami is under $25 and so is this one.
Did a dressing room try on haul yesterday – they didn’t have a ton in store, and they even told me stock is more limited because of social distancing they want more people to shop online, so get your carts ready for your access day!
The Anniversary Sale opens up to Nordstrom Cardholders and members throughout August (today for Icon Early Access). Once it opens to cardholders (August 13th) and then the public (August 19th), pieces will start to sell out fast so you’ll want to move quick when it opens up to you.
Happy Monday guys! Sharing this yummy healthy breakfast recipe with you. When you get a healthy breakfast in it boosts your brain stimulation, gives essential nutrients you need for the day, contributes to heart health, reduces metabolic syndrome, improves skin, and stabilizes energy levels. My usual breakfast is a bowl of oatmeal, I like to switch it up once in a while and incorporate some superfoods. I’ve started making chia seed pudding in these cute mason jars (similar here) mixed with protein bites, it has a massive amount of nutrients like antioxidants, Omega-3, and fiber- here’s the recipe I used:
RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
3 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 Tablespoon honey
2 Tablespoons peanut butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Toppings: extra peanut butter, raspberries, perfect bar protein squares
Directions:
Whisk together almond milk, chia seeds, honey, peanut butter, and vanilla. Make sure to keep whisking until the peanut butter is dispersed. Let the mixture sit for five minutes and whisk again to remove any clumps. Place in the fridge to set- I kept it overnight but I noticed they started expanding after about an hour!
When ready to eat, top with a drizzle of peanut butter, add some perfect bar protein squares, and raspberries. I also thought blueberries and granola would be yummy options too! I love these gold spoons to eat with to make it extra pretty!
And enjoy! Super easy and healthy!! Let me know if you try it 🙂
Also, I always have a lot of people asking about this runner in my kitchen- you can find it here!
