5 Reasons This is the New It Bag

Obsessed with this bag!

I’ve always been a bag girl! I feel like bags transform any outfit! I’ve been wanting a new neutral bag aside from my typical black, nudes, and greys and love this Marine Senreve bag. It’s not a true navy but still works as a neutral with anything. I’m convinced this is the new it bag and wanted to share some of my favorite parts.

Strap conversion: I’ve never found a multi-way bag that converts as easily as this one. It can transition from a backpack to crossbody to a satchel all without having to adjust any buckles or re-strapping anything. The handles and straps just swivel so it’s super easy to adjust for any occasion.
Office appropriate: For all my bags, you think I would have a good one for the office that fits my laptop haha but for the most part I just have it in the front seat of my car or floating when I need to take it out and about. I can’t count the number of times it’s flown off my front seat because I don’t have a good bag for it. This bag has the perfect compartment for laptops and ipads and it has the softest microsuede interior for all the pockets – I’m obsessed.
Mom Bag: What mom doesn’t need an oversized, hands-free bag to fit everything? It has tons of pockets and compartments so it will fit everything and I love that it can just as easily transition into a backpack or satchel for airport style or as a crossbody for date night.
Pebbled Leather: When it comes to investment bags, I always go for pebbled leather – it’s a lot more durable and doesn’t show wear and tear or scratches as easily. This one has a really soft, pretty and high-quality pebbled leather and it’s made in Italy.
Goes with everything: I love the chic, minimalist look of the bag – it has that classic, timeless look and the belt gives it a fresh and modern feel. It comes in multiple colors – also love love the white for summer and the Ice is such a pretty shade of grey!

Dive Into The Blue

Obsessed with this flowy summer dress.

I have always been drawn to the water. The ocean, the pool – there is something so peaceful and refreshing about water. It’s made summer my favorite time of year for this reason. Our entire family is drawn to the water. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to negotiate treats with Beckam or pull him out of the pool in tears because he doesn’t want to leave. Cody is through and through a beach boy. We always talk about moving to Oahu when we’re older and the kids are grown up.

For me, I love the ocean and sand. I’ll be honest, I don’t swim super deep in the water (why am I still scared of sharks? lol) but it’s 100% my happy place, sitting on the beach watching the kids play, listening to the ocean, and watching the palm trees sway – I almost can’t picture a vacation without a beach. 🙂 I’m partnering with Tory Burch for the launch of their new fragrance Bel Azur to celebrate summer and the Bel Azure. It reminds me so much of the ocean that it’s getting me so excited for my next beach trip! It’s a citrus/floral fragrance and is such a fresh scent for summer – love it!

The New Neutral You’ll Wear With Everything

Obsessed with this soft metallic leather – so good!

We’ve officially been home for a week! It’s been nice to get back into the routine of things, have some home-cooked meals at dinner, and spend some more time with extended family. When we got home last week I was just so overwhelmed with all the crap we have in our house that I went into major dejunking binge and started getting rid of everything in our house haha. You know when you get to that point that you just get tired of putting the same things away that you never use? We got rid of so much stuff, it’s the best feeling in the world! I’ve tried to be more hesitant about what I buy so my house doesn’t look like I deserve my own episode of hoarders (ok I’m exaggerating, but you know what I mean :).

One thing that always gets a ton of wear is my sneaker s. I’ve always been a sneaker girl! I’ll take them in (almost) any color. But metallics are the closest neutral to white that you can wear with ANYTHING. This metallic pair I’ve been living in. They are super soft and I love that they are easy to slide on and off. (I always keep my laces loose so I can get sneakers on and off really easily 🙂 A soft leather mtallic is a dressier, chic version of that classic white sneaker we all have in our closet but a great alternative for another neutral option you can mix and match. If you think of how much you can mix and match your silver jewelry, a silver sneaker is the same thing – it goes with everything!

HELLO SUMMER! Technically summer just started but it already feels like it’s going by so fast! Who else agrees? Last week we hit 100° almost every single day – it’s been a hot one! Beckam lovvvves the pool (even more than the beach – he’s such a little fish!). He loves to put his head under water and blow bubbles and of course jump into the pool and make the “biggest splash ever” according to him.

I’ve been on a color kick lately and found so many cute, bright pieces for summer. I love the rainbow detail of this suit (under $100 – also comes in white). They had an all black version too that’s so pretty! And the best pop of color: fruit-inspired pieces! Whoever thought of turning cute fruit-inspired pieces into wearable fashion get a gold star in my book. How cute is this pineapple wristlet?? It also has a strap so it can double as a crossbody. Such a cute statement bag for summer plus it’s under $100!

Beverly Hills Weekend Style Diaries

Last weekend we went down to California for Father’s Day. Cali is both one of Cody’s and I’s favorite mini get aways. It’s just a little over an hour flight from Utah, and secretly we are really hoping to move their some day! Saturday we headed out to brunch in LA area. I had asked a couple of my blogger friends in LA for good eggs benedict suggestions (benedicts are one of Cody’s all time favorite foods) and they suggested Blu Jam, but by the time we made it there Saturday morning it was over an hour wait! Hungry toddlers can’t make it waiting for an hour, lol, so we found another yummy spot about a mile down the road.

I wore this yellow polka dot jumpsuit for most of the day (I like to change outfits for dinner when we travel 🙂 I am loving polka dots! This romper is a steal under $50. And these star metallic lace-up sandals – I’ve been wearing with everything! Probably one of my favorite sandal buys of the summer!

After brunch we went to the Pier. Wes is really into roller coasters right now so we were excited to take him to the amusement park on the Pier. When we got down there the whole thing was fenced off for a private event all day!! We were so bummed because we had talked it up to him so much. Oops! The kids got free balloons so at least they got a conciliation prize 😉

Saturday afternoon I snuck out shopping for an hour. We are doing a fun project with Tory Burch and so I popped in store to get some goodies for the project.

These sneakers were one of my finds! They come in 4 different colors here– how good is that ruffle detail? You can never go wrong with a white sneaker, but this navy ruffle detail makes it really unique. So Obsessed with these!!

I wore this red sun dress out Saturday night. You can’t go wrong with a bold red! I love the embroidered detail – it’s perfect with sandals for the beach or loafers for a night out.

These Gucci loafers are amazing!! I know they are an investment but they are so worth it!

Our hotel was right across the street from Rodeo Drive. Every night before dinner we would walk up and down Rodeo people watching. Their is an ice cream truck that sits half way down the street close to Bally’s and the kids would get ice cream bars every night. We ran into a couple of you guys, and it’s always so fun to meet and say hi! It always makes our day to connect with you guys!

Love these sneakers! You guys have seen me wear them on repeat (last seen in this post). They are the best for traveling – I love the sneaker/espadrille combo!

Sunday was the car show! Cody has always loved cars so it was fun to see the retro cars. I’ve had tons of questions on this dress and excited to share more from the outfit next week. Happy Monday guys! Hope you all had a great weekend celebrating with your families for Father’s Day! We just got back from California last night. Cody has always had a thing for cars and California so we did a quick weekend getaway to check out the old school cars at the Concours event on Rodeo Drive this weekend. I know I say this every time, but we love California and I dream about being able to call it home some day. From the beaches to palm trees and perfect weather, we are always finding a good excuse to go visit. 🙂

I wanted to share another one of my favorite moments from our trip to Maui! The sunsets every night were something out of a movie. So unreal! This was the beach right outside our resort with perfect sunset view! I got this cute off the shoulder swim coverup for under $50! It also comes in a maxi version here. I love the bold red – definitely a must for the beach!

Daily Style Diary: June 14th 2017

Hey guys! Another daily style diary 🙂 You have seen these jeans on repeat lately (last seen here). I just got them and they are so soft and comfy I’ve worn them almost non-stop! I love that they are high waisted with the relaxed leg style, they are different than any other jeans I own – so good! I could live in a white tee and jeans. Just add a bold lip, nude sandals and a good crossbody and you instantly kick up a casual look for date night.

Hawaii is our favorite beach spot in the US. Well it might be Cody’s favorite tropical escape overall. This was Cody’s first time to Maui and my second. I went years ago with my family, it was when Cody and I had first started dating and my parents said I didn’t even pay attention to anything because I was busy texting him the whole time lol. Ooops! It felt so good to be back!

The first day we got in we just lounged at the resort (we stayed at the Four Seasons Maui) went swimming and of course had to catch sunset! Sunset is my favorite part of the day whenever we travel! We make it a point to catch everyone!

I have such a soft spot for swimwear! They are all so different! I had my eye on this pretty pink one forever, it sold out and then when they restocked was so excited to get it! I love the classic one piece silhouette and of course it’s pink so I love it! This wicker woven bag was another one of my favorite pieces from the trip. The tassels are so pretty and it’s a must-have for vacation!

My Go-To Mom Styles

Happy Tuesday guys! We are home! Back in full swing of things! We’ve been from one corner of the US to the opposite corner and it feels so good to be home for a quick minute before we head out of town for work again this weekend. When we are home, I’m either in mom-on-the-go mode – running errands with the kids, going back and forth to soccer games or playing with their friends – or in working-mom mode, heading to shoots or meetings, working on ILY, going to the office, etc. My family keeps me super busy (and I am not going to lie, it’s stressful at times!), but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

No matter what mode I’m in, it’s always non-stop so I try to dress accordingly. My wardrobe musts for mom-on-the-go mode are cute athleisure pieces, sneakers, a baseball hat, and an oversized tote that will hold anything.

For work mode, it’s all about neutrals and a cute pair of heels. I love crisp clean white – it’s one of my favorite colors to wear! Utah summers are crazy hot and don’t always lend themselves to wearing light colors, since hot weather often equals sweat breakthrough. I don’t like sacrificing my favorite colors just because of the heat, so I keep my deodorant in my bag or car. My new favorite shoes! I’m obsessed – Gucci can do no wrong right now!

Our new America tank! Obsessed!

Hi guys! It’s been a whirlwind of a week and I know I haven’t posted in forever! We have had so much going on with ILY and then we took off to Hawaii! But I’m back and next week I’m going to be sharing a bunch of new content.

We just added this tank to our Americana collection and I’m so happy with how it turned out! I love the 70’s vibe and the bright pop of red. Graphics are the best detail to comfortable tanks and tees, so I can never get enough!

We have seen some of the coolest sights ever in Maui! I’ll also be sharing more pictures from our helicopter ride to a private, secluded waterfall. I started to lose my voice from screaming so much, I was so excited! We landed home for 24 hours and now are off to NYC for a fun project with I Love NYC. So be sure to follow along on insta!
