The Chicest Summer Pants Under $100 that Feel like Sweats
Obsessed with these pants – they are the fresh updated version of summer sweats! They work as a swim cover up, you can dress them up with a flow top and jewelry. They are under a $100 and sooo comfy and chic.
Hope you guys had a great Memorial Day weekend! It was the most normal life has felt in a while, hanging outside, getting to see some family, and of course it doesn’t officially feel like summer until you’re in a swimsuit! I have this one (under $100) in multiple colors (last seen here) and still get tons of questions on it – it’s super comfortable and really good material, so great for any body type. (And so functional! I’ve never appreciated it more than now having an energetic baby around :). I also have this plunge version from them and love!
So let’s talk about effortless summer chic. It’s these palazzo pant. They have pockets, they are a beautiful material that can look dressed up or dressed down, they are lightweight and breezy, it’s the perfect version of summer sweats. A lot of you guys ask about sizing I’m a size small – and they come in so many different colors! One of you guys messaged me saying you bought 3 colors after my post last night haha. They are the best summer staple! Right now you can get $10 off with code: HELLOFASHION10 at checkout. It’s not just the pants, any purchase 🙂
Below are some other summer styles I plan to be living in!

Memorial Day Sales Worth Shopping
Happy Memorial Day! I put together some of my favorite items from my go-to retailers who have Memorial Day sales this weekend. There are so many great pieces, from budget-friendly to discounted designer.
Asos is always one of my favorite for on-trend, affordable pieces and especially during sales it feels like a steal. I always get a lot of my swimwear there (especially when I’m stocking up before a trip) and also love their sweatsuits (both joggers or sweat shorts)
Ever since I was introduced to Verishop last year, it has been one of my go-tos. (Especially with their 1-day shipping – hands down the best part!) This weekend they have their Designer Sale with pieces up to 50% off.
Mcgee & Co (20% off sitewide w/ code: TISTHESEASUN):
Mcgee & Co has become one of my favorite home brands. They helped design our entry way (you can shop all those pieces here) and I’m always browsing their new arrivals whenever I’m on the hunt for something. Everything is amazing quality!
This weekend is a great opportunity to score designer pieces on sale. I’m dying over these Roberto Cavalli sunglasses (can’t believe they are 30% off!) at Saks and also loooove the color on these pretty track pants. Need!
Nordstrom always has an amazing selection for their sales and this weekend is no different. So many great beauty and home products, and of course fashion. I love the vintage silhouette of these Adidas (on sale 25% off) and this crochet swimsuit is stunning – comes in 5 colors!
H&M has so many beautiful pieces this season so I couldn’t believe they listed everything at 20% off sitewide! Obsessed with this baby doll dress and I’ve also been loving high-waisted paper-bag shorts – both of which are under $25 right now! (Will also be stocking up on kids and baby clothes!)
I’m forever adding everything to my Shopbop cart and right now their sale collections are insane. So many great pieces from my favorite brands from statement dresses (love this silhouette and print!), to bags, to loungewear.
Sephora has tons of amazing products of major sale right now, from makeup to skincare to hair products. Love the T3 styling tools and this one is 15% off right now. Also love this brand and this microneedling set gets amazing reviews – need to try!
Alo Yoga has amazing quality workout pieces and I love all their color options. A lot of workout brands have really limited selection but I was impressed with how many pieces Alo Yoga included in their sale. Love all their cropped pieces (this one comes in 5 colors) and how pretty are these blue leggings?
We always get tons of questions about our back patio layout – almost everything is World Market and a lot of the pieces are still available! (Full post here for details.)
Even though most of Utah has fully opened up – we’ve been having fun doing some quick family work outs. Sometimes they are 30 minutes other days they are 10 minutes, it’s just a fun way to play as a family.
FAMILY SQUATS:
I hold ollie in the front and Cody throws Beckam on his back for a little extra weight. My legs are still burning from the other day haha.
FAMILY PUSH UPS.
I’m a push up wimp so I do as many as I can on my feet and then move to my knees. Cody does some max reps with all of us on his back, it’s pretty funny. I have no idea how he does it!
My kind of push-ups, haha.
COUPLE JUMP ROPING:
We go until we can do the full alphabet together. If we mess up – we start over and try to do a couple sets of the alphabet.
ARM BURNOUT:
Lift kids above your head, I very lightly toss Ollie in the air – he loves it and it gives your arm a good work out. I do as many as as I can until my arms burn out and I can’t do more.
When it comes to working out I usually go for a cute legging like these pink stripe ones (so cute on)! When I’m home I usually just work out in a sports bra and leggings. I love this one because it is really form-fitting so it’s great support for all kinds of workouts. Also got this one (love) and these running shoes- the neon pink and yellow accents are so bright and fun!
Cody needed some fresh socks and I loved these grey striped ones, they pair really great with these shoes we found. These Nike tees come in five different colors- he’s wearing the grey but we also got this black one as well. These are super basic and easy to wear with a pair of black shorts like these.
When I saw this track set for Beckam I was dying over it and knew I had to get it for him! I love the price of it too it’s under $30 and the material is super thin so he can wear it in the summer and not get too hot. I also found these little white airmax’s to pair with the track set (why are kids shoes so much cuter)!
I feel like recovery is such an important part of any workout. Not recovery can lead to injury or soreness to wear its hard to consistently workout. I love this marble foam roller to target any large areas like your hamstrings or back.
What are your favorite clothes to workout in? I linked some other items on my order below and you can find other past family workout looks here and here.
Being home I am loving being with my kids so much but when they go down for bed it’s important for me to be able to relax and recharge. I’ll light my favorite candle, pour in some bubbles (love this one), and just relax which is so therapeutic. But did you know having a bath over a shower is more than just a time to ease nerves? They’ve been able to link two week periods of taking baths with tons of mental and physical benefits, like boosting your immune system and even balancing hormones. Here are some more reasons to trade your shower in for a relaxing bath!
Baths can improve skin health. Originally you might think that baths would maybe dry out your skin because of those little wrinkles you get but it does the opposite by locking in moisture for longer preventing cracking and drying. It also releases steam onto your face which opens your pores letting go of any dirt and toxins it might hold leaving you with fresher skin. Applying your favorite lotion after getting out of the bath can help lock in that moisture into your skin.
Boosts your immune system and reliefs cold symptoms. I have pretty bad allergies this time of the year that causes me to be congested and have sinus pressure and can even get headaches. Taking a hot bath opens up nasal passageways, breaks down buildup, and circulates blood flow that relieves symptoms for your body. With COVID going around and being a respiratory virus its really important to take deep breaths throughout the day so you’re using your full lung capacity. The hot water in a bath acts as an almost physical exercise for your blood vessels allowing them to open up and get more oxygen to your lungs. I have read that it also helps your immune system which is a major benefit especially with all the sickness going around right now where our immune system needs to be stronger than ever.
Lets your body know its time for sleep by relaxing your muscles. The hot water in a bath increases your body temperature and relaxes the muscles that soothe us not only physically but mentally. By doing this it helps your body enter its sleep spell allowing you to fall asleep much earlier and easier. Crawling into bed you will also feel that any aches or pains you might have been soothed and waking up will feel a lot more refreshing!
It helps us feel better about ourselves. Quieting our minds and giving us the chance to slow down and take time for ourselves in general, helps us mentally feel better and gives us confidence in who we are. It’s also a great way to reduce daily anxiety allowing us to focus on the brighter things in life boosting our mood.
It burns calories. A hot bath can lower your blood sugar and burn calories. Soaking in a hot bath for one hour is compared to burning as many calories as a half-hour walk which is about 150 calories!
What else are you guys doing in your self-care routine?

My Favorite Baby Clothes Brands (& Discount Codes!)
Hey guys! I’ve gotten a lot of questions recently about favorite baby clothes brands – I know I’ve been so bad about linking Ollie’s outfits!! So compiling a whole list of my favorites and even requested a few unique discount codes for you guys to use from 15-20% off for most of these brands. Keep scrolling for my favorites!
This shop makes their baby clothes entirely by bamboo which makes the material super soft and comfortable (which we appreciate more than ever now that he’s so mobile!) I have this set with the little joggers and hoodie for him in multiple colors.
Lulu and Roo is another one of our favorite baby clothes brands and they have tons of pieces for every season and age! Their pieces have the cutest details – love their striped tees and track pants and they have the cutest henleys like this gray one, and lots of color options for these cozy joggers. Beanies are amazing for babies to keep their tiny little heads warm and I thought this yellow knot one was too cute!
Love their waffle-knit pants, especially! Their stuff runs big for babies so it’s looser for infants. They also have good knit sweaters (also run big for baby but TTS for toddler or bigger kids – Beckam has some of their pieces too. 🙂 They’ll be adding a summer drop soon so stay tuned for more pieces on their site!
Cozys is another great shop for baby/kids clothes. They have so many cute patterns, colors, and prints to choose from and have tons of matching accessories to choose from.
Swimsuit season is upon us and it makes me so happy to think about laying out in the sun! Because of everything going on right now, it’s sad to say that this season won’t quite be as adventurous as your typical summer break but that does not mean you can’t enjoy a couple new suits to get your tan on (even if that means laying out in your backyard)! Here are a few of my favorite looks on Pinterest right now:
This checkered bikini is everything. I love the lime green checkered top paired with some layered coin necklaces completing a total vintage vibe! I found a similar bikini here and have this & this coin pendant I love that would pair perfectly!
Obsessed with this thick band top- I found this one that’s super cute. I love a white swimsuit because it makes you look more tan than you actually are (I need all the help I can get after that long winter). The floppy hat gives it a completed look, I love this one and I would even maybe pair with some thin gold hoops like these!
The crinkle one piece is my all-time favorite swimsuit look! I have a few suits with this fabric and let me tell you- they are so comfortable and flattering on! I love the turtle shell accent on this suit and a simple white button-up like this to throw over as a cover-up for a classy monochromatic look. Here is this exact one piece!
A black swimsuit is a swim season must. I always feel like they’re so flattering on and are perfect for a low key look. Black goes with everything it’s so easy to wear with some gold jewelry like these earrings and I love her black-tie sunhat like this one! I think black always pair really good with denim cutoffs like these for an on the go look.
Give me all the leopard patterns! You can never go wrong with this pattern- this string bikini is so fun I found a really similar one here (also obsessed with this one from one of my favorite swimwear brands last seen here). I love her tie rattan bucket bag I found a cute one here and I seriously want to buy this visor!
This is one of my favorite inspo photos I found! I love the idea of wearing a headwrap like hers paired with a white bikini. It allows you to have a little fun with the wrap while keeping a simple look for your swimsuit. I love this headwrap I found and this similar swimsuit!
Which style is your favorite?? See some more pieces I’m loving below:
Hey guys, I’m sorry I have been so bad with blog posts the last week. We are having issues getting high res images to upload, its driving me bonkers, but they are supposed to be getting it fixed this week fingers crossed! I have a couple home posts I am so excited to share but I want to be able t have the images not be blurry!
We are still living in loungewear. I got these looks a couple months ago for the fam, When you start adding some of your favorite loungewear to your cart and end up with a full family look. 😂 I almost died when I saw these cute baby Superstars for Ollie and then got so excited to find him an infant Adidas set (okay, I might’ve ended up with this one too – so cute!). If you’ve seen any of my posts lately, you know that you don’t have to talk me into a comfy sweatshirt or pair of joggers – these are actually men’s joggers, I just sized down to a small in bottoms for that oversized look (also got a couple men’s sweatshirts in a size M, but will also be stealing Cody’s. 😉 Also got these grey joggers and love the logo pattern!
We made a Tiktok of this look and it broke over 13 million views! You can watch the video here. Are you guys on Tiktok yet its my favorite social media app right now 🙂 If you guys join, come hang with us – my account is: @christine_andrew
