Sometimes gifts are more about moments, and sometimes it’s more about the items themselves. I think everyone has different love languages. Have you guys ever taken the love language test? It’s seriously so helpful when understanding your significant other! It’s helped me understand how to give Cody better gifts for any event. Cody’s love language is time. It’s quality time together. Sometimes we make those elaborate things, other times it’s silly things for no reason. This year we’ve been doing little things for each other every day of December leading up to Christmas. And because time is so important to him, I went with a watch as one of his gifts to symbolize that our time together is always on my mind. He is the best at being romantic and giving good thoughtful gifts so I wanted to get him something symbolic of the time and take him to do something fun. We dressed up and went to an old school diner by where we used to live and got our favorite ice cream. You can’t go wrong with a classic watch for your S/O to add to their collection. It’s a staple accessory that he will wear every day. I just got Cody this Citizen one from Macy’s – they are powered by any kind of light so they never need a battery change. I love the blue face for a little accent color to his look but it’s still really polished and goes with everything. Also love this one and this black one for a more neutral option.
