After Christmas hits, does anyone else instantly get ready to pull out there spring wardrobe? It’s still so cold here in Utah but I have spring fever! I wear white year-round – that “no white after Labor Day” isn’t a rule to live by anymore, I promise. 🙂 But I’ve found a secret to bringing those spring pieces out early while it’s still cold. The one piece you need: a turtleneck! It’s all about layers, but turtlenecks especially are such an easy staple piece to layer into your look. I love pairing it with a v-neck sweater so you can see more of the piece.

One big trend we are actually seeing as we move into the season is layering turtlenecks with dresses so they are a major player this season. This lightweight style makes it easy to pair under anything without adding any bulk. Also love this striped turtleneck and these pretty neutrals for under $8! See more of my favorites below.

Christine

  1. Since I live in California, I find that most items I have are thinner spring layers! I find that different textures and different lengths of tops, tunics, sweaters, jackets are what I love to mix for a great, casual outfit!

    1. Everything is sold out in the smaller sizes from old navy and Nordstroms. Other recommendations for the short small people? I can’t afford very expensive pieces I love that you give less expensive options.
