Cody and I both hate the cold, so we welcomed the abnormally warm December weather with open (and sometimes even short-sleeved) arms. But with Christmas right around the corner, we found ourselves wishing for some snow ( I swear I thought those words would never come out of my mouth!). The kids especially kept asking how long until it snows??? So we decided to surprise them and head up to the mountains.  Their eyes lit up at the first sight of snow. They were out waist deep before they could even put on all their warm layers. 10 minutes into it, Wes comes back covered and can’t figure out why he’s so cold. Mara thinks it’s funny to keep dumping snow down his back which definitely didn’t help the situation! Needless to say our snow adventure ended pretty quick. After about 20 minutes we realized the idea was better then the reality. We were all freezing!! and decided to enjoy our snow day through the window of a warm, cozy restaurant. Four hot chocolates please!

Doesn’t it feel like Christmas sneaks up on us every year? I can’t believe it’s only 7 days away. I’ll be honest I’ve barely made a dent in my shopping list. I hate to admit it but I am a procrastinator when it comes to buying gifts. I always swear the next year I will start earlier and it never happens! A lot of you have been asking about these boots B always wears and they are under $20. Perfect gift for your nephew or little one. For you last minute shoppers like me…. here are a couple last minute gifts under $20:

All items on sale under $20: Boots || Green Beanie (under $5) || Baseball Tee (under $10) || Printed Socks || Glittery Slip Ons || Pearl Earrings

  1. Very good family, and happy also. Seem to be pretty much when you are happy in a family environment. There is nothing more precious than family.

    Love from Kosovo

  2. Can I just say how much I adore your little family?! Although I don’t know you personally, I can tell you’re a genuine and caring person; and that show your true self to your fans and followers. Thank you for the fashion inspiration! xoxo

  3. Cool style christine! you look great in pale pink by the way.My husband prefers the low key jeans (not baggy) and tee combo.

Anyway, My question for you is personal. STRETCH MARKS. Sorry to ask (but you are only thin blogger that just had a baby) if you don’t want to answer is totally cool.
    So,
I am super thin like you and wonder about stretch marks because of pregnancy. did you get them? how in the world a small wait stretches without getting them? thanks!

  4. Can you give the information for the exact boot you’re wearing? I know its no longer available, I would just like to know if they are actually sperry boots or not. Thanks!

  5. You have such a cute blog and fun family! Where did you find the wonderful scarf!? I’ve been looking for one that long and LOVE the print! (The link takes me to something COMPLETELY different) thanks!!!

  6. Hi Christine,
I was obsessed with this coat your little was wearing last year and the link you provided went to a different style. You posted a flashback post on Instagram of him in it today and it reminded me of how much I love it. I would love to track one down for my little guy can you please let me know where it’s from? Thanks!
