Between the 50° mornings and the 80 degree afternoons (well into October I might add!) light layers are my best friend right now. I can’t wait for temperatures to drop again (I know I’ll regret saying this later :). Layers give you so many options and versatility with the rest of your wardrobe.  I love this long cardigan (also comes in blush). The length makes it more of a statement element that is a cool touch to a simple look, whether distressed boyfriend jeans or a feminine wrap dress.

Christine

  1. I stumbled upon your blog and have been really loving it. I have a few holiday parties my hubby and I need to attend in December, any chance you can post some outfit ideas for different types of holiday parties? Some on the dressier side and some that aren’t? It would be a huuuuge help! I know you will link out to some great things.

  2. Layers are the way to go, also when the temperatures drop! I am so in love with the navy cardigan with the simple jeans outfit.

Also a cape and overknee boots are two of my favorite fall pieces ever!! So versatile and extremely stylish.

  3. I like that you featured blue today. This fall all I have looked for is neutrals and black and white. I have been forcing myself to choose darker greens and maroons, I want to try to add some blue in the mix. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I love this look so much! Unfortunately the link to the navy cardigan is gone… Do you happen to remember where it’s from?
