Happy Thursday! This week we have been setting the house up getting ready for Halloween. I’m talking crafting 3 days in a row. The kids just get so excited for any holiday! I have always loved art, and used craft and paint monthly, but the last year or so I have let a lot of the little things slip that used to be important to me. It’s funny how being pregnant has really helped me align those things back in order, even something as basic as enjoying my hobbies.

Part of the holiday set up included some dejunking in my home office. I found this leather ASOS top I had actually planned on returning, but forgot about it and missed the cut off date. I tried it on again and am glad this one didn’t make it back to the store, but really the thing I can’t get enough of is these black knee high boots. I think they are my favorite buy so far this Fall!

I’d say a little red dress is about as much of a staple as the LBD, and for some reason I didn’t have a basic red dress, so I was glad to add this number to my closet.

One of my friends recently introduced me to the Nordstrom-owned deal site HauteLook. The site has been around a couple years, I don’t know how I was missing out on this hidden treasure. Basically it features all their great brands at discounts up to 75% off. New sales events are added daily at 8am so I always hurry and check the sales when I wake up so I catch things before they sell out. You can sign up here to get the alerts so you don’t miss the events.

Happy Monday! We had our first snow fall this weekend. I’m loving the cool weather but not quite ready for snow 🙂

Oversized sweaters and boots are my favorite fall pieces. Half of my jeans don’t button anymore so I have been trying to hide my un-bottoned jeans with loose tee’s and oversized sweaters. 90% of the time I am in heels, but since I’ve been pregnant my feet get tired a lot quicker than usual. This weekend I found myself drawing more towards my flat over the knee boots over my heels. Even when I’m nine months pregnant I don’t think I’ll be able to completely give up the heels but I think I might have to invest in a few more flats.

Feathered

When I was in NYC I had the chance to visit the Milly showroom and fell in love with this feathered skirt. They also had a beautiful dress version too, but I felt I could get more wear with the skirt. I have literally been on the hunt for a feathered skirt for two years. I saw a Pinterest picture with this luxe blush feather skirt paired with leather gloves and it has been on my mind ever since so I was excited to finally have my own.

Speaking of things I have been hunting for, I have also been searching for some over the knee boots, and found these black ones this week. I wore them yesterday on Instagram and had a lot of you asking where to find them 🙂 They have the cutest tie in the back, I’m obsessed.

Today is my hubby’s birthday! I am a birthday finatic, birthday’s last for weeks at our house. We are pretty busy on a day to day basis so I rarely have time to set aside time to cook home cooked meals. I have been waking up extra early this week (5:30 am!) to get all my work done so I can get home and cook him his favorite meals. A special happy birthday to him <3
