Happy Friday guys! Ahhhh I’m obsessed with these shoes! I have been on the hunt for cute white flats and hadn’t seen anything that caught my eye until these! In full honesty I am not much of a Valentino shoe girl, they look so cute on other people but I just never wore them. A few weeks ago I was in Vegas and saw a girl walking down the street in these and had major shoe envy! I was obsessed! I searched all the major retailers and couldn’t find them – so I went to my go to spot for all the rarer styles that are harder to find and they have them! I love when you hunt for something and finally find it! It makes the purchase more exciting 🙂

When it comes to transitioning to fall, accessories are everything. Shoes and bags can do a lot for taking your look from season to season. White out is a major color theme we are seeing this season – also the white and black combo is always a classic you can’t go wrong with. We all have white layers – tops, sweaters, etc.- laying around the closet so opt for nicer accessories to complete your white out look. I love this clutch and this YSL bag or for a sportier look this white backpack is really chic too.

Today’s post was supposed to be the second half on investment pieces (if you missed it you can read part one on designer handbags here) but we had a crazy storm last night so I wasn’t able to shoot the outfits. Stay tuned later this week I will be sharing my tips on purchasing designer shoes.

Today’s look is about one of my favorite staples, graphic tees. Graphic T-shirts are a versatile (and comfortable!) must for anyone’s closet. Typically it is the first thing we grab for on a lounge day, but a graphic tee works just as well paired with a structured blazer and heels. I like incorporating this comfortable tee into a sophisticated look because the graphic element adds interest to an otherwise simple ensemble. If you are worried a graphic t-shirt isn’t your style, focus on the pieces you style with it. Dressier elements like a blazer, heels, and classic accessories make this look more accessible for adults. It feels so good to be home so I can sit down and share more of the events from the trip. This was my first year attending runway shows so I felt like a kid going in a candy shop, amazed by all the dresses, high fashion, and herds of people. Day three was one of the busier days. I previewed Malan Breton, Venexiana, and Herve Leger Spring/Summer collections. The Herve Leger show was by far a highlight. It was so packed with people and had an A list of attenders from Giuliana Rancic, Nicki Minaj, and Katie Cassidy to supermodel Petra Nemcova. I was totally star struck by Giuliana, her reality show is one of my faves 🙂

The collections were gorgeous. Venexiana had lush feathers and exaggerated ruffles. The detail on each of these gowns was like a piece of art.

Herve Leger brought edgy zippers and dramatic wastes paired with leather into his Spring Line. Leather being one of my favorites to wear, I was excited to see this trend carry into Spring pieces. The stand out look was this little fringe number in the middle. Immediately everyone’s phones were in the air trying to snap the perfect shot of this look.
