I go through phases when I’m constantly buying neutrals, and then next thing I know my closet is colorless haha. So all of the sudden I’m loving all things bright and colorful – probably a side effect of winter 🙂 I found this green plaid blazer and mini skirt combo and was in love (also obsessed with this pleated pink – so cute.) I ended up trying it on with this striped top and it was such a fun combo mixing prints! I especially love the red and blue stripe down the sleeves for another fun accent color.

If you aren’t used to wearing a lot of color, even mixing two tones might seem like a lot but it’s so easy to do and makes for a great statement outfit. If you are still worried about it being too bold, balance it out with neutral accessories like white sneakers or a neutral straw bag (LOVE this one! It’s a great size and under $50). Or go bold! I also got these bright blue boots that match perfectly with the stripe on the side. It’s a statement look (especially with a red lip to bring it full circle) but hey, some days call for more color than others, right? I also got these pink track pants and can’t wait to wear them!

Hey guys! I got a million questions on my looks yesterday. I found this bikini for under $20 and bought it in 2 more colors – it’s so cute and I can’t believe what a steal it is! I also got tons of questions on my necklaces. I love the layered look with this choker and this pendant necklace. This cover up is actually a dress I found at Zara. You can turn any button up dress into a pretty cover up, just wear it open with your swimsuit and you can add a pair of cut-off shorts if you want more coverage. Lastly, obsessed with this bamboo bag! I’ve seen a lot in this style but I love the beaded shoulder strap on this one – so pretty! Here’s a similar option for under $50.

Happy Monday! I just got to Miami last night for the first trip of the year meeting up with some of my favorite girls. It snowed again in Utah this weekend so I’m extra ready for some sun and sand this week.

I can’t believe we aren’t even a full month into winter! I’ve been living in cozy layers and found this sherpa (surprise! you know I can’t say no to anything fuzzy- haha) hoodie. They just added more sizes in this one and it’s so good. These blush velvet joggers are the steal of the week ONLY $15!!

I also got this pretty light green bomber. I love pastels in the winter and this one is reversible with a bold orange and I love it as a statement coat or a surprise accent color for your look.

Happy November 1st! I can’t believe it’s already November! How was everyone’s Halloween?? Did you guys have fun dressing up? If you missed it you can see our costumes on my insta here 🙂

It has been such a beautiful fall I can’t get over it! I love being able to wear flirty dresses with OTK boots and not be freezing 🙂 I love over-the-knee boots and just got this pair. They go a lot hight up the leg than my other OTK boots – they are my new favorite. They have a good stretch to them so they fit all leg types – seriously so good if you are looking for a pair! I’ve also been obsessed with rich jewel tone hues! I found this GORGEOUS emerald green piece and fell in love as soon as I laid eyes on it. So pretty and I love the velvet ( similar here ). Hey guys! I wore this dress to an event last week with Shopbop. I’m such a sucker for pretty dresses that I’ll look for any excuse to get dressed up! This one has the prettiest peekaboo detail at the waist (also got this one). To be honest I didn’t try to zip it up when I first tried it on so it took a little elbow grease to get it zipped all the way haha. I was laying on the floor bending every which way as Whitney tried to zip it – we were laughing so hard!! I realized after that it’s Australian sizing so I would suggest sizing up if you are used to US sizes :). It’s a great piece that you can dress up for an event or wear with a leather jacket and ankle boots to make it work for a date night out.

Happy Monday! Cody and I went to Miami for a day and a half for a fun event with Shopstyle. It’s always fun when we have a second to ourselves (I always really miss the kids but loved having this one on one time with Cody). It was a super short trip but so fun! Shopstyle put on this really cute brunch the morning before the game and I wore this pretty gingham top. Between the ruffle detail, the one shoulder silhouette, and the gingham print it’s like a match made in heaven. It comes in 3 colors and is under $100! These shorts are super versatile too – I wore them to the game at night too. You can cuff them up or wear then down (on sale under $75).

I always love getting to go on trips when I can see some of my blogger friends and also get to meet new girls! Everyone brought their S/O’s so it felt like a mini couple’s retreat. After the brunch we had a few minutes to swim and the water was the warmest I’ve ever felt it – it seriously felt like a bathtub! It was so fun having an instant group of friends to see the game with too. I can’t believe this was my first soccer game! My mom and  Cody are both huge soccer fans so it was exciting to go to the game. Wes’ favorite team is Real Madrid and Messi is his favorite player so that made it even better! They also made us personalized jerseys which were so cute.

The energy at the game was insane! It was a higher energy than any other professional sports game that I’ve ever been to. People actually got upset if you stood up and were blocking their view haha so you have to wait until true halftime when there’s no action to be able to stand up and get a good pic. 🙂

Last weekend we went down to California for Father’s Day. Cali is both one of Cody’s and I’s favorite mini get aways. It’s just a little over an hour flight from Utah, and secretly we are really hoping to move their some day! Saturday we headed out to brunch in LA area. I had asked a couple of  my blogger friends in LA for good eggs benedict suggestions (benedicts are one of Cody’s all time favorite foods) and they suggested Blu Jam, but by the time we made it there Saturday morning it was over an hour wait! Hungry toddlers can’t make it waiting for an hour, lol, so we found another yummy spot about a mile down the road.

I wore this yellow polka dot jumpsuit for most of the day (I like to change outfits for dinner when we travel 🙂 I am loving polka dots! This romper is a steal under $50. And these star metallic lace-up sandals  – I’ve been wearing with everything! Probably one of my favorite sandal buys of the summer!

After brunch we went to the Pier. Wes is really into roller coasters right now so we were excited to take him to the amusement park on the Pier. When we got down there the whole thing was fenced off for a private event all day!! We were so bummed because we had talked it up to him so much. Oops! The kids got free balloons so at least they got a conciliation prize 😉

Saturday afternoon I snuck out shopping for an hour. We are doing a fun project with Tory Burch and so I popped in store to get some goodies for the project.

These sneakers were one of my finds! They come in 4 different colors here– how good is that ruffle detail? You can never go wrong with a white sneaker, but this navy ruffle detail makes it really unique. So Obsessed with these!!

I wore this red sun dress out Saturday night. You can’t go wrong with a bold red! I love the embroidered detail – it’s perfect with sandals for the beach or loafers for a night out.

Our hotel was right across the street from Rodeo Drive. Every night before dinner we would walk up and down Rodeo people watching. Hi guys! It’s been a whirlwind of a week and I know I haven’t posted in forever! We have had so much going on with ILY and then we took off to Hawaii! But I’m back and next week I’m going to be sharing a bunch of new content.

We just added this tank to our Americana collection and I’m so happy with how it turned out! I love the 70’s vibe and the bright pop of red. Graphics are the best detail to comfortable tanks and tees, so I can never get enough!

We have seen some of the coolest sights ever in Maui! I’ll also be sharing more pictures from our helicopter ride to a private, secluded waterfall. I started to lose my voice from screaming so much, I was so excited! We landed home for 24 hours and now are off to NYC for a fun project with I Love NYC. My favorite: Airport style! Who else is obsessed with all the 90’s throwback logo tees right now? Cody got this GUESS tee (under $50) last weekend and I stole it for my trip. A) I love a good oversized boyfriend tee and B) it’s pink so obviously he had to know I would steal it from time to time 🙂 It is definitely oversized, so to give it a little more shape, I rolled up the sleeves, knotted the bottom and paired it with these high-waisted jeans (under $100).

Cody took off for a guys trip earlier this week so I headed to Boise (where I went to college for a little bit) to hang out with my best friend Jen. We got pregnant with in a couple months of each other so our kids are so close in age!! It’s so fun to watch them play together. We are secretly trying to predestine their marriage as much as possible!

I have been wanting a round toe pump but hadn’t seen very many I love at a good price point because I wasn’t sure how I felt about the rounded toe, but these were a perfect pair to start out with! The light grey suede is so pretty!

I wore this pretty off the shoulder maxi dress for Mother’s Day Sunday. I love the off-the-shoulder with a maxi silhouette! And of course the floral print 🙂 It’s such an easy piece to throw with sandals for a day of errands or with heels and a leather jacket for date night. Beckam was seriously being SO SWEET on Mother’s Day! Cuddling me and giving me extra kisses. I don’t really think he understood exactly what Mother’s day was, but he he was all about the loves and I was soaking it up.

I got so many questions on the frames Cody and the kids made me for Mother’s Day! He and the kids actually picked out every single picture and had them printed, cut them out with guy at the print shop and taped them with the kids one by one into each frame. I love those kinds of gifts!! My heart seriously melted! I know a lot of you guys were wanting to make one of your own, so I did a little digging and found this place has collage option really similar which might save a little time if you don’t want to DIY it. (Although I love the personal touch!)

Polka dots are one of this season’s unexpected prints. A part of me felt like this print was semi-childish, but when I saw this cute mini skirt (under $60) I loved that the ruffle detail made it feel a little more sophisticated yet still playful.

Also for everyone asking about my pink lace top from my Viktor Rolf post with Beckam, the brand is Self Portrait but it’s from last Spring and no longer available :(. But it’s definitely a stunner! This one is super similar.
