Hey guys! Summer has always been one of my favorite seasons to shop for so I’m always adding summery pieces to my cart – especially ones that I can transition into fall. We are total beach people and always make it a point to go to a beach at least once every few months, so I’m buying swimwear year-round. I think swimwear is my biggest weakness! I’m always drawn towards pastels and neutrals, and how cute is this light pink one piece? Love the crochet detail. I’m also a major sucker for stripes so I this bikini set and this oversized button up that you can wear as a swimsuit coverup or with cut-offs of jeans. Sandals are another piece that I end up wearing most of the year and I just found this updated version of the sandals I’ve been living in this season! I wear the white non-stop but also love the bright yellow!  I’ve also been realizing I need to freshen up my bag game and fell in love when I came across this one – it’s an investment but it’s one of those bags you’ll own and wear forever. Also love this one that’s at a really accessible price point and will go with everything.

SPRING SPRING SPRING! Doesn’t it just make you so happy! Today is two casual everyday looks in my favorite classic neutral tones. I always have a jacket in my car for those sporadic cold days, and it’s still really cool at night here. We just launched this military jacket at ILY and I love how it’s a statement piece but still neutral so it works with anything. We also just added these denim shorts (under $100) and I love the wash and fit. So excited it’s getting time for shorts season again! Also these white sandals are kind of a dupe of a designer pair but I love them so much! I wore them a ton on our beach trips earlier this year and they just restocked the sizes! They are under $100 too!

Happy Friday! Cody and I love to get dressed up – well I really love to and i think he does it because I love to. 🙂 I don’t know what it is about white, but it’s always one of my first choices for an event.  A white dress works for any season and it’s such a classic, timeless piece that you can wear forever. Holiday season is sneaking up faster than we think, and all the cute holiday dresses go so fast so start looking now. 🙂 I’m obsessed with this one by Halston Heritage. The whole Halston Heritage’s collection at Neiman Marcus right now is so pretty – I love all the simple silhouettes but the details are so good. I love this one that looks like a two-piece suit – so pretty! Also how pretty oversized ruffle detail on this dress.

Happy Monday guys!! Cody and I are in California with the family this week for a couple of the Fashion Week presentations that moved from NY to LA. I am actually really excited to be in the warmer weather of California. Valentine’s is around the corner! Typically I’ve always gone with a cute red dress or classic red and black combo (which you can never go wrong with!) but this year I wanted to do something a little different so I opted for this beautiful white dress. I love the elegant, timeless white and I’m obsessed with this ruffle detail – they are having such a moment right now. Also obsessed with this white cross body.  It’s so easy to bring in that classic red Valentine’s accent with a red or pink lip, nail color, or shoe to tie the whole look together.

1. Cody still opens the car door for me every time we go somewhere together. Even if we are mad at each other over something dumb, he will walk over silently haha and still open it.
2. I am an only child and Cody comes from a family of 10! He has 8 brothers and sisters. Both our families are really close. My cousins and aunt and uncle all live a block away from my parents house so even though I don’t have brothers and sisters, we were all super close growing up. I love that Cody has a big family! All of his brothers and sisters have 3-5 kids so when we all get together our group is close to 50 people!
3. 50/50. Cody is so helpful around the house. He cooks and cleans as much as I do (maybe more lol). He thinks he’s a bad cook, but he’s actually a really good cook! We like to try new meals but have a hard time thinking of what to make so we like to get those ones where they send all the ingredients and recipe to your house.
4. Daily Debates. Cody and I are both strong willed, and really competitive. It’s almost comical now, anything we see from guessing a TV actor, directions to a restaurant, or time it takes to get somewhere, we place a 5 minute back rub bet on it.
5. Foot Rubs is both one of our all time favorite things!
6. I HATE scary movies. Like I am the biggest scaredy-cat of all time. We were at a movie a couple weeks ago with our friends and Cody told me it wasn’t scary (LIE!) and I literally hid under his jacket for the last 20 minutes and plugged my ears hahaha. I’m such a baby!
7. Always make time for each other! Cody and I still try and go on a date night every week. Honestly it probably happens about 3 out of the 4 weeks a month because sometimes life just gets busy. But we’ve both made it priority to take time doing something fun with each other weekly.

Hey guys! Omg these last few days have been so busy! We are spending Thanksgiving with my family in Montana so we have been rushing all weekend to get everything done for work early so we can shut down and enjoy time with the family. It’s not supposed to get warmer than low 40s this week in Montana so I’m excited to pull out this Canada Goose Parka – I had my eye on these parkas forever before I got one and love how clean and polished this black one is.  And there’s nothing like an embellished pair of boots to off-set a simpler, cozy look so adding a statement shoe to your Thanksgiving travel plans will go a long way. I’ve worn this pair and these sneakers non-stop since I got them – so good!

I always get so excited for Black Friday but also a little anxious because literally there are sales at all of my favorite retailers and I want to hit them before everything sells out, haha! I have been obsessed with leather jackets lately. You’ve seen this one in a lot of my posts, but it isn’t a true black black, it’s more of a charcoal color so now I’ve been looking for a true black. Finding a leather jacket is like picking out a new car. It’s an investment and you want to love it (I think it’s an investment work making – if your not ready to splurge on the closet staple, here is a budget friendly version under a $100.) I’ve ordered like five different black ones on the quest for the perfect fit and style and haven’t found that perfect one yet. I thought about just ordering true black in the charcoal one I already have but I wanted something with more variety. I love IRO’s jackets because the leather is so soft. It doesn’t feel stiff so it’s easy to still move your arms around, but I also want one that has quilted sleeves (I’m picky I know!!) We did finally find Cody the best jacket though. We have been looking for months. We tried some of the designer ones and actually had better luck with this one (on sale right now!). It cost a lot less and Cody loves it!

Oh my word I am so excited for Christmas!! I saw this skirt like a month ago and gasped! It’s so perfect for Holiday parties. I am obsessed with the huge bow on the back – isn’t it so pretty?! It comes in pink too. I paired it with an old crop top I had but it looks cute dressed down with a flannel too. There are lots of options for styling 🙂

B was literally killing me in all these pictures. I know as a mom you’re biased but seriously I can’t handle his cuteness. He loves to help me carry things in from the car so he was all about carrying these little boxes around and stacking them. I’ll be honest there is nothing in them we just have them under our tree for decor but I love how excited he gets to help.

Picking out gifts for my family and friends is one of my favorite parts of the holidays! There are definitely some of those people I struggle with – men are so hard – but below is a list of some of the goodies I’ve found so far 🙂 Neiman’s has so many cute gifts for kids right now like pieces I haven’t seen anywhere else! Love these superheros they can color themselves, and I just ordered this city block set.  I love finding those unique gifts for the kids because they get so excited about everything.

1. DRONE: Guys always love gadgets. These drones have a built-in camera so when they are doing their favorite outdoor activity they can capture the view from a different angle.

2. LIPS PHONECASE: How cute is this case! I may or may not have ordered one for myself but it’s also the perfect gift for a sister or your bestie.

3. BURGUNDY BAG: I’m obsessed with this bag! It’s at the top of my wishlist right now. There’s nothing wrong with dropping a couple hints for your husband – sometimes they even prefer it.

4. WOODEN CONNECT GAME: If you have a family on your gift list, a game and cookies is always a great choice – it’s a gift that brings family together, and isn’t that what the holidays are all about? Plus this game would be so cute on a coffee table.

5. DOG STOCKING: Don’t forget about your four-legged friend! Santa’s gotta spoil him too 🙂

6. SKINCARE SET: Mothers-in-law can sometimes be hard to shop for but the appeal of a good skincare product is something any woman can get behind.

7. MUSIC BOX – All our kiddos love music. B will dance to any beat he hears so I love the idea of getting them something to help them grow their passion for music.

8. LIPSTICK/GLOSS SET – Whether you’re shopping for your sister or the closest thing to it, your BFF, she’ll love this lipstick/ lipgloss set. I love YSL because they always stay on super long and they have the richest pigments.

9. WOODEN CITY BLOCK SET – I just think this is so cute and a perfect addition to any toy room. This one comes in 4 different city-scapes. I ordered it already for my kiddos. I’m obsessed!

10. SLIPPERS – Either for kicking back and watching the game of running errands, guys always go for comfort. These slippers are a pretty good start.

11. WOODEN MOTORCYCLE – Cody has always loved motorbikes so this wooden motorcycle is a fun way for the kids to get into his hobbies. I love the idea of a gift that mixes parents’ interests into something a kid can enjoy.

I am so excited to share this Halloween shoot we did a couple weeks ago! Growing up, Halloween wasn’t a big deal at our house but since I’ve moved to Utah it’s an all out event. Cody’s family is really into Halloween. His sister is super crafty and goes all out with amazing decor! Cody and I wanted to do something more dramatic this year so we got together with one of my photographers and came up with this skeleton concept.

I am such a shoe girl! It’s always the first thing I check on the new arrivals page whenever I am shopping online, especially heels (how amazing are these one and these ones!). Whether they are dressed up with a skirt or dressed down with distressed boyfriend jeans, shoes 90% of the time make an outfit. You can have the most basic look a tee and jeans, and with killer shoes it transforms it!

Louboutins are always my go-to when I want something that stands out. The So Kate‘s are my favorite style – they are so elegant and feminine and I love the little toe cleavage they give ;). I just got this suede pair and I am obsessed, this pair I have had for years and they go with everything! A closet staple. Next on my wish list is this flared suede pump and this little bootie.
