Beckam has really become my little shadow. I love taking him everywhere with me, it’s like having a mini best friend. Maybe it’s because I was an only child and always wanted the constant companion, but I can’t get enough 🙂 Saturday mornings are errand days, typically we are running to the mall, grocery shopping, or getting the car cleaned out. My uniform is always comfy shorts (distressed denim or workout), sneakers, and oversized tee (this one on repeat). 90% of the time I roll no make-up and I swear it’s always the times I run into people I know. Do you guys have that? The days you don’t get ready you see everyone you know 🙂

First off some of you may be asking what the heck is a kimono?? It’s basically a long loose robe, traditionally worn in Japanese culture, but more modernly worn as a robe or sheer layer. They are so great for summer over swimsuits or a light weight layer with shorts or distressed jeans.  Nasty Gal has a great collection here and I’m also loving this mint one paired with a swimsuit.

Another fruity find, this pineapple button up is under $20 which makes it an easy way to try the fruity trend.  I went up two sizes to give it an oversized look. Ever since I got these pants I have been in love with fruit prints, especially pineapples. Have you guys found any other cute fruit pieces?

If you read my blog, you know I’m a sucker for the white on white combo. It’s nothing new, but with summer heating up it was an excuse to pull out the shorts and replay the combo with summer pieces. Recently I got an email from a reader asking how to make short shorts look classy. My tip would be if you are showing a little more leg, go for a looser fit top or something with sleeves. It draws less attention to the shorts and makes it seem a little more classy. Have you guys found any other tricks with styling short shorts?

I have been on the hunt for a good Summer handbag. I wanted something bright, but that could still act as a neutral. When I saw this neon yellow tote I knew it was the perfect find and it was on sale! I love the accent zippers and oversized shape, but my favorite part was the material.
