I hope you guys had a happy Thanksgiving! It was so nice to be able to relax with the fam, totally disconnect from work, and just hang with the fam! I saw some of my favorite retailers launch their sales yesterday and was tempted to shop, but honestly I was totally soaking in the holiday and figured it could wait until today 🙂 So here are some of my favorite Black Friday sales going on right now and some selects from each! H&M: 30% OFF

I’ve been on the biggest H&M kick. I love their collection right now and also the styling is on point! So many great outfit ideas and even better since it’s all at such accessible price points. Everything is 30% off right now – sherpa jackets are my favorite right now but also so hard to get your hands on. They just launched this one that comes in two colors and they are both so good and under $50. Also love this pullover – the black zip detail is 😍.

ANTHROPOLOGIE: 30% OFF

Black Friday is the best time to pull the trigger on those big investment items you’ve been putting off. Right now Anthropologie is 30% off site-wide. I have this mirror and it was one of my favorite purchases for the house – I had been wanting to order it for forever and was so happy with it! So if you’ve been waiting for the right time to order, this is it. They also have the prettiest home and furniture pieces – lighting especially. How pretty is this sconce!

Kohl’s constantly has great sales but right now they are adding an extra 15% off on top of regular sale price – like these slippers for under $10! I bought them full price months ago and LOVE them! So cozy and soft – such a great gift and a steal right now! They also have so many of our families favorite brands like Nike, Adidas, Levi’s, Vans, etc… so definitely stock up while it’s on such major sale right now!

I ordered a bunch of Mango pieces this week and can’t get wait to get my hands on them! They have such timeless pieces and great quality – love all their colors schemes right now!

My faaaavorite jewelry brand! I think they only do sales on Black Friday so don’t miss out. The majority of the jewelry I own is all from them and it’s such high quality.

Nordstrom has tons of pieces included in their Black Friday sale right now and one of the best places to shop for the whole family + beauty finds. These boots are 50% off!! Love the croc texture and the color – so good but sizes are going quick! Topshop jeans are always a steal, even full-priced but these are under $40 right now! Love the distressing and fit! If you haven’t tried these bras yet, now it the perfect chance while they are 20% – soooo comfortable. Also this fleece coat would be so cute this winter with leggings and these boots!

1 Holiday Beauty Look to Rule Them All

My favorite holiday beauty look (and surprisingly easy to do!)

Life since Covid has made me a lot more of a minimal, bare-face type of a girl. But when I popped into Nordstrom to pick up my favorite holiday candle (swear by this one), I got super excited about all the holiday palettes. I got a few newb beauty cabinet additions and wanted to do a holiday beauty look. If there’s one product you neeeeeed it’s this stunning eyeshadow palette. So good! Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of products and you can see the tutorial here.

1. MOISTURIZER

The first step of any successful makeup look – good skin! It’s been a minute since I’ve shared my latest skincare routine and need to share an updated one, but one product that’s been a staple since I discovered it is this moisturizer. It is a splurge, but my skin has seen such a difference – it is worth every penny. It’s one of those skincare products that your skin starts to crave if it takes you too long to re-order after you finish a bottle.

2. EYESHADOW (HAPPY GLOW SHADES)

The holiday eyeshadow palettes out this year are sooooo good!! For this look, I used the ‘Happy Glow’ shades from this palette. The pigments so rich and beautiful and blend/build really well. I was shocked at how well some of the shimmer tones came through.

3. BROW POWDER & BROW GEL

These is my go-to for brows – been using them both for years. It stays all day and comes in so many shades – I’ve used the pencil and pomade but the powder is by far my fave!

4. PRIMER

If you aren’t using a primer, you’re doing your skin and your final makeup look a disservice. Not only does primer make for a beautiful base, it also helps prolong and preserve your makeup so it lasts all day, AND it acts as a barrier to keep products from clogging your pores. For this look, we used this cult favorite – it goes on so smooth and has a pretty mattifying, blurring effect so your foundation goes on super smooth.

5. FOUNDATION – SHADE 360 BISQUE (N)

I’ve been using this foundation for years. It lasts aaaaaall day! It’s a medium to full coverage and has a super velvety matte finish that make for the prettiest base for any beauty look. I have super sensitive skin that can get irritated with a lot of foundations, but I haven’t had a single issue with this one. Love the coverage!

6. HIGHLIGHTER

I love all things Benefit, my makeup artist got me hooked on this highlighter. This palette has multiple bronzers (I swear Hoola looks good on any skin tone!) – I used the ‘Cookie’ highlighter. It blends so well and it’s the prettiest tone that works so well with pink and tan undertones.

7. EYESHADOW (HAPPY GLOW SHADES)

I added a smudged eyeshadow under my eye using the same palette. Can’t wait to try the rest of the colors – the ‘Seduce Glow’ especially is so pretty! Also got this palette with more gorgeous holiday colors that are also subtle enough to use for an every-day beauty look.

8. LIP LINER

This lip liner is universal – it’s so pretty on EVERY skin tone! If you haven’t given in the obsession, do it. You won’t regret it!

9. LIP GLOSS (SHADE: HALLUCINATION)

I got this gloss a few weeks ago and have been wearing on repeat (last seen here). It’s the prettiest nude gloss and the perfect finishing touch to a full makeup look or you can wear it on its own with a fresh face.

10. SETTING SPRAY

Another cult favorite – if you haven’t tried a setting spray (especially this one) it’s a game changer! Not only does it help your makeup last all day, it also helps keep it from transferring to your clothes (or worse yet, your S/O’s clean white tee haha). Also got this stocking stuffer version!

Fall Tablescape

Wanted our fall tablescape to feel a little more moody so we went with rich burgundy hues in the florals and candles and warm wood accents like these cute coasters.

He thinks licking things is the funniest thing ever. He always does it try to make us laugh 🙂

This white and mixed metal pitcher was probably my favorite Marshalls buy. Love the mixed metal!

You guys have seen a few sneak peeks along the way as I’ve been putting this together, so I’m excited to share our fall tablescape! I love decorating for the season or upcoming holidays because it always makes a home feel cozier.

Before moving from our old home, I wanted to create a special family dinner as a way to celebrate our time here, the special memories we made, and enjoy our last family meal in this home. Our schedule has been pretty crazy, so we’re always looking for ways to slow down and just enjoy our time together. During our family dinners, we talk about anything and everything from superheroes to the kids’ day at school. While our schedules are busy and sometimes it’s not always easy to make time for these dinners, having sit down family dinners is something my parents always taught me was important and I want to carry that on with our kids.

My parents have always been really good at hosting dinners and making everything feel really festive, so with that in mind I started picking out pieces for our fall tablescape. My first stop was Marshalls and I was excited to find pretty much everything I needed there. I love these pretty ceramic serving bowls and the metal details on this pitcher so they were my foundation for the rest of the settings. They were the perfect pieces to combine gold and coppery/bronze tones in my tablescape! I can never decide between gold and the coppery/bronze tones so I was excited I could tie both metals into the tablescape.

My other favorite find was the candlestick centerpiece – I wanted a moody feel, so I went a little overboard on the candles haha. I also found individual candlesticks to add height variation that created a pretty effect. Whenever I go to Marshalls I always end up finding way more than I was looking for and everything is always at really good price points. I went in with the intention of getting one or two things as a centerpiece, and I left with way too much stuff! You can see more of my fall tablescape later this month on MarshallsOnline.
