I don’t know if it’s my current obsession with tans and beiges or just my excitement over this new outfit, but it takes something special to oust my go-to airport sportswear style, and this look did it! Nine times out of ten you will find me in my favorite leggings, oversized sweatshirt, and sneakers when I’m traveling, but this is one of my favorite travel outfits to date. These trousers are a super lightweight material, plus with the wide leg silhouette they are just as comfortable as my typical travel uniform. I always layer-up for the plane, so I was excited to find this jacket that matched perfectly. Both pieces are under $100 and transition perfectly from the plane to going out to dinner or jumping right into your vacation. Also you guys helped me decide on this straw hat and it’s such a great staple (and must for spring/summer travel!) – and a great price point under $50. These slides are another one of my favorite recent buys for this spring and summer and under $150. Love the texture!

Everyone loves a good beach trip right?! I got so many requests and messages asking me to share what I packed / what my beach vacay essentials are. My outfit above is one of my favorites from the trip, and I have rounded up some other essentials that I took with me as well.

On beach trips, I always pack a big floppy straw hat to help protect me from the sun, and a big straw bag (shown in pic below) to hold all my stuff in for the beach. This is the bag I took to Hawaii recently and I loved it! I’ve actually had it for 2 years I think and they just restocked it. It’s such a good bag and can hold a lot but not be too heavy.

The majority of the clothing I take with me are cute swimsuits, cover ups, and light weight linens for the beach and pool! I found this brand last year called POSSE and their pieces are AMAZING! They are really light weight and I love the neutral color palette they have. I’m wearing their rose linen top above. I try to take neutral cover ups that go with anything, so that I can wear them more than once.

This flowy maxi dress (shown above) is amazing! This brand has lots of cute flow pieces that are colorful and playful.

You can’t forget swimsuits!! I love this swimsuit, this one piece suit, and this one piece that I shared on my Instagram!  This swimsuit (shown above) on is a good one for any body type, comes in like 10 colors and it’s under $100.

Comfy pants are an essential of mine for beach vacations too! I like to have something lightweight and flows (in case you get burned 😉 or it’s just too hot and you don’t want crazy tight fitting clothes.  I got these pants and wore them almost every other night to dinner. I love how effortless and cute they look and they’re so comfy to throw on after a long day outside they feel like pajamas! These are a BIG STAPLE!

For makeup, I always stay very minimal when outside at the pool and beach – I rarely do my makeup when we travel.  I usually just put on some tinted moisturizer – this one is a recent favorite and I love that it has SPF in it!

And of course – its always important to have a good suitcase to get you to the beach!  I got this cute red suitcase a couple months ago and I am still loving it. I have also been using this bag when traveling – I love that its big and holds everything I need as a purse and is easy to clean!

Amazon has always been my go-to place for holiday shopping! Well…it’s officially COLD here in Utah!!  All the pretty leaves and colors I have been raving about for months now are gone and it’s just plain cold…but I can’t complain!! I seriously love bundling up in the cold and doing all of the holiday activities with the family. Even basic errands are more fun because downtown is officially decorated so pretty – so many trees and beautiful lights everywhere. It’s all so magical!

Coats are always one of my very favorite things to buy. I swear you can never have too many! I am obsessed with this new green coat from Saks because its two coats in one. It can be worn without the longer part when its not quite as cold out, and add the longer part over it when it’s freezing! I love the look of both!  For running errands with the family I paired my new coat with easy all black basics. You’ve seen me wear this turtleneck many times before – it’s such a great staple to have in your closet and easy to layer with everything!  Loving these new velvet black skinnies and of course the pop of leopard in my shoes and hat. You could easily swap out the heels for a pair of booties for a more casual look – I recently got these and love them!

Hi guys! We were supposed to head to California this weekend but last minute had to cancel and I’m so bummed I was so ready for the beach!! These pictures were from last weekend when the weather was so nice! I got Beckam a bike for his birthday and he loves it so much. We go out so he can ride every night its warm enough, so I decided I needed one so I could ride with him! I’m so obsessed with this one and it comes in other cute pastel colors too!! Paris! It’s one of my favorite cities in the world. I’ve been a few times with the family and once with just me and Beckam when he was a baby. Cody, me, and the kids all have short attention spans so when we came we never made it to some of the museums and more touristy stops in Paris, so I was excited to do that during our girls trip! We originally went to see the cherry blossoms they were supposed to be in full bloom by end of May but a storm came a few days before we were there and SNOWED! Snow in Paris crazy right! So there were barely any trees in bloom!

Our first day in Paris apparently half the city was on strike! So a lot of the spots we planned on seeing were closed, but it was the perfect chance to walk around the city. We just wandered around and ended up all over town. Our first stop was Notre Dame: You can’t go to Paris and not see the Notre Dame! There was almost no line so we were able to get in really quickly. Such an amazing experience and crazy to think it started being built in the 1100’s! Even if you aren’t religious, the cathedrals in Paris are a rite of passage – they are all so beautiful!

The Louvre: Do your research ahead of time (we didn’t lol)! When we showed up there were 2 lines – one for people who had reserved a time to visit the Louvre, and then the rest of us who were just winging it. The majority of us were winging it of course so it was a pretty long line, maybe half an hour to actually get in and then another 15 minutes to buy tickets. There’s an audio tour (costs a little extra) or a free app you can download for a reference point as you are exploring. The Louvre is HUGE! You could easily spend all day there. Honestly I wasn’t as excited to go, but once we went it was actually really cool to see. The detail in some of the pieces is insane and thinking about what they created with the resources they had is pretty crazy to think about! I would say its a for sure must see, but if you aren’t much into art you could be in and out in an hour.

Sacre Coeur: We just randomly ended up at the Sacre Coeur one night and it had such a pretty view of the city, I was so glad we did it! We didn’t get there in time to climb the steps up to the dome for the best view, but it was still a beautiful view from the peak of the Montmartre neighborhood. On the way down there was a street vendor selling hot apple cider and hot mulled wine – so good! On our walk I found the only cherry blossoms in Paris I think hahah jk I’m sure there was more somewhere but I was so excited to find one tree with some beautiful blooms!

The Flower Market: This was my favorite part of the trip!! It was my first time to a French flower market and it was every bit as amazing as it sounds. There were no other tourists so it felt like a typical Parisian Saturday morning, picking up produce and flowers for the week. I almost cried because I was literally just so happy! 😍

Versailles: Every detail was absolutely breathtaking. MAJOR home inspo haha. The pink marble was probably my favorite, and all the ornate detail everywhere! The gardens were insane, I can only imagine how pretty it is in the summer when it’s in full bloom. I didn’t realize how big Versailles was until the end of the day when my feet were sooooo tired, haha, so first tip – wear sneakers! We heard that you should either go first thing in the morning or late afternoon when it’s least busy, and we noticed the line definitely started to die down around 4. Make sure you have time to explore the gardens though! I think you could spend a whole day just outside when it’s nice out.

Saint Chapelle: Fourth time was the charm! We tried to see Saint Chapelle the first time but it was closed. We looked up the hours online and saw it closed at 5pm, so we got there at 4:36 and found out the last entrance is 30 minutes before closing – so we missed it by 6 minutes! The next day we had to leave for Versailles and tried to squeeze the Saint Chapelle in right before and the line was like an hour long! I’ll be honest, I gave up but my friends went back the next morning and waited in line because I had major jet lag and just wanted to sleep in haha. Apparently you can get priority tickets online and skip the majority of the line! It would have saved so much time haha. The pictures they got were so pretty – the stained glass looked unreal! It’s pretty quick once you get in, so definitely spring for the priority pass so you don’t spend more time outside waiting than inside actually enjoying it.

Cafe De Flore: This cafe is probably one of the most insta-worthy eateries we went to. I’m obsessed with all the flowers overhanging the restaurant and it’s facing a busy street and sidewalk so you get a true taste of what everyday life in Paris is like just people watching. The Eiffel Tower: No visit to Paris is complete without a trip to the Eiffel Tower! You’ll get a few peeks of it from around the city, but you have to see it up close at night when it’s twinkling! So magical. We got a crepe from the street vendor right by the Eiffel Tower and it so good! Street food is always a good choice in Paris

Whitney always has the best Zara finds!! So obsessed with her outfit!!

Hey guys! Happy Monday!! It was SOOOO nice here this weekend we went to the park and played outside so much. Mara had her dance recital and she was so freaking cute! They did the song Come Fly With Me, and she had this little flight attendant costume it was adorable!

Today’s outfits are all about denim! I’m loving all the statement denim we are seeing this season. These red and white stripe jeans are my new favorites and they are under $100! (Does it remind any one else of the 90’s too?! I love it!). The other trend we are seeing is clean denim – less distressing and clean lines. These skinnies are the perfect everyday denim (also under $100) but still bring interest with a two tone hem at the ankle. Pair it with a suede jacket for the perfect day to night look.

Hey guys! I am in full blown spring mode over here, especially because of all the spring pieces I have ready to wear! Luckily the weather has been warming up a bit so I can finally pack away all my winter clothes. I wanted to share some of my favorite finds with you guys today. You know my long love with pink, so at this point I basically consider it a neutral ;). I also don’t mind sometimes investing in higher quality pieces (Like this gorgeous bag) that are pinky or blush tones because they are one of my favorite colors to wear and don’t ever go out of style. You guys also probably know by know how much I’m loving the trouser trend, and I’m obsessed with these high waisted ones! Another one of my closet staples this year are statement shoes, and I’m in loveee with these pink slides. This off the shoulder top is another favorite, and it’s only $32!

Isn’t the Eiffel Tower just magical?! It gets me every time. This is one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn! It was really cold the first few days we were in Paris, so when the sun finally came out we were so excited to not have to be layered up anymore. I had picked out so many cute pieces for the trip because I thought it would be nice weather so I was glad to finally get to wear some of them. 😂

I am so obsessed with this dress – the sheer detailing, the ruffles – it was one of the pieces you try on and can’t wait to wear! mytheresa.com has so many amazing spring pieces right now. It’s definitely my go-to for stand out pieces, like this polka dot dress! Love the sheer detail with the bows. I also got this Gucci tee and this See By Chloe Dress, and how cute is this cropped button up? Also got these mules – obsessed with the color and with the lower heel they are super comfortable.

And accessories! Parisian style is all about the accessories so I love all the hats (this one is so chic!) and the head scarves. A silk scarf is a must-have this spring – just tie it around a loose pony or messy bun, or even tied around your bag to bring in more color to your look.

We have been so spoiled here in Utah with a really warm fall, but this week it’s been so cold this week (technically freezing this morning!) and I’m already over the cold.. Anyone else already thinking about planning a trip somewhere warm? I’m not ready for all the colorful leaves to disappear either! It’s my favorite part of fall. While I was shooting this the leaf-blowing truck pulled up and started blowing all the leaves away from the street – I didn’t know know that was a thing haha but apparently they have to do it every day during the fall since there are so many leaves falling. So it’s crazy to think all these leaves are just from ONE DAY!

You guys may recognize this look from when I shared it a couple weeks ago on Instagram, but honestly pics don’t do the pieces justice. They are an investment but all of the pieces have so much detail – they are amazing in real life. I discovered Fabiana Fillipi last year. Remember this outfit? I fell in love with their collection and they quickly became some of my favorite designers. This top is probably my favorite. I love the combination collar and it’s so simple but really high quality so it can transform any outfit you pair it with. Also love the beaded hem on this trouser. It’s crazy what a difference little details make but they really do! This trench is super softer and also reversible, with a grey or camel option – so pretty. I love being outdoors in the fall – there’s nothing cozier than throwing on some warm layers for a crisp fall night out with your S/O! You can really have so many great adventures outside, even after fall hits so I’m excited to share 5 outdoor date ideas to try this season.

1. An Outdoor Hike: Whether you’re the type that likes to make it to the summit or are just as content getting high up enough for a good view, a hike always makes for a great date. Cody and I packed some journals (we are trying to stay focused on things we are thankful for, and this 5 minute journal is perfect) and some yummy snacks. Cody doesn’t drink but I love a glass of wine every now and then. I love these Barefoot Wine Refresh Spritzers because you don’t have to carry the whole bottle with glasses around so it’s super convenient to turn an ordinary night into something special. I tried a couple of flavors – this one was summer red but Moscato is my favorite.

2. Explore Your Own Backyard: Sometimes you are so focused on exploring the highlights of where you live that you forget to explore your own neighborhood! We live right by the mountains, so instead of heading for some of the more popular canyons nearby, Cody and I explored a few back roads in our area and found some great mountain views that we had all to ourselves.

3. A Scavenger Hunt: Cody and I are really competitive (it takes us like 6 hours to play card games because we always want a rematch lol) so any date that let’s us get competitive is right up our alley. Make a scavenger list of fall items like a pumpkin, red leaves, scarecrows etc. and see who can find everything first.

4. A Starlit Picnic: Who needs dinner by candlelight, when you have the stars? Or for those cloudy nights, make your own starlight by setting up string lights for a picnic. These battery-operated lights are perfect.

5. Get the Fall Feels: What’s fall without a pumpkin patch? Go pick out pumpkins and challenge each other to a carving competition or get spooked in a corn maze. I’m the biggest wimp when it comes to scary things so I always opt for the happy corn mazes but Cody loves the scary ones, so whatever fits you guys!

Hey guys! We just added a bunch of new arrivals to ILY and I wanted to share some of my favorites! This burgundy maxi is the perfect dress for fall. I love the sleeveless style but it’s also really easy to wear with a pretty leather jacket or cropped sweater for a chilly evening. It’s super comfortable so you’ll want to wear it non-stop!

You can easily transition your favorite summer pieces to fall!  One tip to transition your dresses is to add a wool layer like this hat to make it feel more season appropriate. Pair it with your favorite ankle booties. It instantly gives it that fall feel so you can keep them in your wardrobe rotation! This one is such a pretty neutral color and under $100.

You can transition your shorts into fall too – just add boots and a moto jacket! I’m obsessed with this pair – another great option if you don’t want to show much skin is over-the-knee boots.

This white off-the-shoulder bodysuit is one of my favorite new arrivals! I love the lace-up sleeve detail. These jeans are another one of my favorites – they are a great wash and I love the distressing – both are under $100!

My fall wardrobe always brings out my love of greys! This v-neck top is such a pretty grey and sooo comfy! It’s a great staple for layering, too.

You guys! Fall is in the air here in NY and I couldn’t be more excited! I love that chill in the air and cuddling up in cozy sweaters. I’m obsessed with this turtleneck sweater. It’s super oversized and beyond comfortable. I’ve also been dying to get a good baker boy hat and just got 2 that I have already worn – hands down the best hat for fall! They are an amazing fall accessory and make any outfit feel instantly more cozy. This cashmere one is super soft and one of the first hats that didn’t give me a headache when I first wore it! Here’s another option to get that same vibe for under $100. Have you guys tried them yet? What do you think??

I can’t get enough of bold reds right now! From statement heels to swimsuits, and even great pieces that can work for the office. I’m obsessed with these pants (under $100! – last worn in this post ). They are the perfect crop and the scallop detail is so good! Red is always a great color for your office wardrobe. Not only does a bold red brighten up your neutral-heavy work wardrobe. There’s something about a bright color that energizes you throughout the day. Also these sunnies just came back and stock. They look high end designer but are under $50! Wahoo!
