If you saw my ig post a week or so ago you know Beckam is in a “blazer” phase. I have NO clue where it stemmed from, but all of sudden he wants to wear a blazer jacket to school, the grocery store, everywhere. He wears them with jeans, sweats, whatever. I love when the kids go through these little phases and its something I know we will look back on when he’s older and talk about 🙂

I got these pants and I am so obsessed, I love the loose fit they feel like you are wearing pajamas but are uber chic. They come in a couple different colors. They would look super cute with white platform sneakers too. The whole Uniqlo collection is amazing. Everything is under $100, and I loaded up.  I got this white linen shirt. Its so cute on it’s own but also unbuttoned as a lightweight swim coverup. Is anyone else obsessed with all things linen right now?

Well, off to run some errands – we just got back from Florida and I have to head to NYC for work late tonight. Hope you guys had a great weekend!

A few weeks ago,  we got to celebrate one of my best friends on her most special wedding day!! Whitney started working with me five years ago, and she became like family. Her big day couldn’t have been more magical. Her wedding was up in the mountains at the prettiest lodge in Utah. The ceremony was outdoors and then there was a beautiful dinner inside. The decorations and flowers were so stunning!! I was dying over all the little details. She has such an amazing creative eye and it was so cool seeing all her hard work come to life! She looked so beautiful!! And can we talk about her veil and the fresh flowers she had in it?! So beautiful! 

I got a lot of questions about what we wore to the event, and I had just got home from fashion week so I ran to the mall a couple hours before the wedding to find a dress! I saw this and didn’t even look at price and when I went to check out It was under $20!!! I was shocked! and is perfect for any special occasion you have coming up. Beckam’s suit is currently sold out in the color he’s wearing, but I just ordered another one in a different color here!

Hey guys! Happy Monday!! It was SOOOO nice here this weekend we went to the park and played outside so much. Mara had her dance recital and she was so freaking cute! They did the song Come Fly With Me, and she had this little flight attendant costume it was adorable!

Today’s outfits are all about denim! I’m loving all the statement denim we are seeing this season. These red and white stripe jeans are my new favorites and they are under $100! (Does it remind any one else of the 90’s too?! I love it!). The other trend we are seeing is clean denim – less distressing and clean lines. These skinnies are the perfect everyday denim (also under $100) but still bring interest with a two tone hem at the ankle. Pair it with a suede jacket for the perfect day to night look.

Who else is ready for Thanksgiving weekend?? We leave tomorrow for Montana so I’m trying to wrap up everything else for work this week so I can truly disconnect. 🙂  I just got this cozy sherpa cardigan which is perfect for holidays at home – it’s so soft! Also the perfect layer for long road trips. 🙂 Can you guys tell I can’t get enough of nudes and blushes this season? Saks is running their big designer sale right now, up to 40% off all the best brands, Chloe, Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Prada, YSL, etc. It’s a great time to get some pretty designer bags or shoes on sale a Holiday treat for yourself 😉 or start your holiday shopping early. I just got  this stunning crossbody.  I loved the nude suede and leather blush together- so so pretty! And next thing I know my cart is full of nudes and pinks. 🙈 I also got this pretty lace cami and love the feminine vibe layered under a chunky sweater or pretty wool coat. I think this is the first cape coat I’ve owned! I love the silhouette and it’s such a good piece to dress up or down – perfect for the holidays!

I have been on a red kick lately. It’s quickly becoming my new favorite statement color. When I saw this top (UNDER $100) and this skirt (UNDER $100) it was love at first sight! I love bold reds and can’t get over the statement ruffle detail on the skirt. I also found this amazing floral  bandana (under $20) and I’ve been wearing it non-stop – around my neck, tied onto my bag, and my new favorite – tied around the ankle! It’s such a fresh way to wear a neck scarf or bandana and makes any look read more editorial, either as a bold pop of color with a neutral outfit or to complete a monochromatic outfit.

Happy Monday guys! Hope you had a great Mother’s Day weekend! I am so excited to share our dining room makeover with Joss & Main! I shared a few sneak peaks on Instastories but here’s the full reveal!

I have been putting off our dining room redesign for the longest time! Our dining table was the first thing Cody and I bought after we got married with money from our wedding gifts so it was definitely a sentimental piece. But the table was a little too small for our current space, so it was time for a refresher  it was time for a refresher! I’m so happy with how it turned out. I always get a lot of questions on our home decor so I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces, why we chose them, and a few must-haves to make a dining room feel both fresh and functional.

Space to entertain. We had outgrown our table a while ago so I had been on the hunt for something bigger and when I found this one (similar here) I got really excited! It looked like the high-end designer ones I had been eyeing but it was less than half of the price. That’s one of the things I love about shopping at Joss & Main – their pieces are great quality and are all at really good price points. I love how big the table is, so there’s plenty of room for some extra seats when we have guests over. We also got these bar stools to add a few more seats while we are entertaining and the kids love to sit there for breakfast or while Cody and I are cooking. You can never have too many places to sit!

Easy-to-clean seating. This was a big one on our list. We used to have linen chairs but they  got destroyed so fast- the kids spilled so much on them, they were ruined in no time. I love white to brighten up an area, but Knew I had to get something that could hold up against spills. These chairs are amazing! Probably my favorite piece from the redesign.We’ve already spilled syrup, spaghetti, juice – the works, haha – and it wipes up and cleans so easily because they are leather. Also love the rose gold hardware on them. They are so beautiful!

Dishware you can mix-and-match. I’m always collecting different pieces, so whenever we entertain, we always have a variety of color depending on the occasion. It helps add dimension by mixing colors and patterns. I’m obsessed with these wood dishes! And I just ordered these cute gingham napkins.

Something green. I don’t have much of a green thumb but having a plant of some sort makes such a huge difference to liven up a space! I loved the look of this faux palm (just ordered this one) and knew it stood a better chance of sticking around a little longer since it doesn’t require me watering it. 🙂 Fresh flowers also make a huge difference and are my favorite trick to brightening up any space.

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great Easter weekend! My parents were in town and then we did a big Easter egg hunt with Cody’s family so we loved getting to hang out with so much family. With all the festivities we had lots of family lunch/dinners which we always look forward to cause Cody and I are rarely cook lol. The best part of any meal is the BREAD! Am I right? My step mom and sister in law both made the best homemade rolls. I was loading up!!

We added this top (under $100) to ILY and I’ve been wanting to share all the details! I love the subtle floral detail and I’m obsessed with the peek-a-boo back cut-out! It’s such a pretty accent without being too overwhelming. The unexpected back detail is a great way to make a button up feel a little more flirty and fun for spring. Just as every wardrobe should have plenty of staples, it should have it’s fair share of statements!  🙂

One thing I’ve learned looking back on how my style has evolved is how much I’ve started to gravitate towards neutrals. I love color and am always drawn towards the bright hues and pretty pastels, but when it comes to my wardrobe the neutrals are taking over! I’ve worn it so much since I got it a few weeks ago! With both of us working multiple jobs and some overlap between, one thing Cody and I have learned is how to make the most of our time together. As far as work and planning, we always have weekly meetings to go over our goals, schedule, and plans for the upcoming week either at home or at a new spot we’ve found somewhere in the city. It seems like during that time it’s still hard to disconnect from our other jobs. We might both get 20 texts and a handful of phone calls over the course of our meeting, so 30 minutes might turn into 2 hours. We’ve made it a rule to set our phones aside so we are effective during that time. But sometimes there’s urgent things, and I am a freak about being away from B so I am always texting the babysitter checking to make sure he’s ok (ya I’m that crazy annoying mom! 🙂

Cody and I both recently got the Movado Bold Motion, Engineered by HP smartwatch which allows us to unplug for a little bit without going completely off-grid. With the smartwatch we can set our own priorities and alerts so we know when we are getting texts or calls from family, the babysitter or other work calls we are waiting on. It lights up so cool I always get kind of excited lol. It makes it so much easier to stay productive and make the most of our planning time together. I’ve always loved the look of a boyfriend watch and this one is sleek and easy to transform from a busy day to a date night.
