SPRING SPRING SPRING! Doesn’t it just make you so happy! Today is two casual everyday looks in my favorite classic neutral tones. I always have a jacket in my car for those sporadic cold days, and it’s still really cool at night here. We just launched this military jacket at ILY and I love how it’s a statement piece but still neutral so it works with anything. We also just added these denim shorts (under $100) and I love the wash and fit. So excited it’s getting time for shorts season again! Also these white sandals are kind of a dupe of a designer pair but I love them so much! I wore them a ton on our beach trips earlier this year and they just restocked the sizes! They are under $100 too!

Happy Monday guys! Hope you all had a great weekend celebrating with your families for Father’s Day! We just got back from California last night. Cody has always had a thing for cars and California so we did a quick weekend getaway to check out the old school cars at the Concours event on Rodeo Drive this weekend. I know I say this every time, but we love California and I dream about being able to call it home some day. From the beaches to palm trees and perfect weather, we are always finding a good excuse to go visit. 🙂

I wanted to share another one of my favorite moments from our trip to Maui! The sunsets every night were something out of a movie. So unreal! This was the beach right outside our resort with perfect sunset view! I got this cute off the shoulder swim coverup for under $50! It also comes in a maxi version here. I love the bold red – definitely a must for the beach!

SOMETHING COMFORTABLE: Nothing beats a sneaker when it comes to travel style, but you also want a shoe that will work just as well for your final destination. I always end up underestimating how much walking I’ll do on vacay, so it’s good to have a shoe that’s both cute and comfortable just in case. I love these white espadrilles! They are perfect with jeans for and airport look and work great with cut-off shorts and pretty much anything and the jute accent adds that cool tropical feeling.

SOMETHING THAT MAKES A STATEMENT: I love lace-up sandals for any trip! You can wear them with almost anything you packed: a flowy maxi, cut-off shorts, or with just a swimsuit. They add a pop to even the most basic outfits. I’m in love with this pair. The embellishments make them even more of a statement shoe that will spice up your travel style and they are under $50. Go a half-size smaller – they run a little big. 🙂

SOMETHING FOR A NIGHT OUT: I might be tempted to pack a few ‘just in case’ heels, but I rarely dress up on beach trips so I just pack one versatile heel that can work with multiple outfits. I’m obsessed with all things blush so I was naturally drawn to this pretty velvet pair. The block heel makes it really comfortable and the low heel height is a must since you typically end up walking a lot on vacation.

I have really been drawn to structured minimal pieces lately so when I came across this black textured top, I knew I had to have it. Its clean lines, modern neckline, and boxy fit give it a current feel. To complete the look, I coupled it with a pale pink skirt (on sale over 50% off). The pleats add a basic element of contrast to the look without straying too far from the ensemble’s minimalism. Lately life has just felt good! I think clothes and color really speak your mood and feeling, and lately it’s just been a lot of bright colors. I was browsing the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (see my picks here if you missed them) last week and found this clearance tweed blazer. It looks expensive, and costs under $35. Those are the kind of deals we all like right? But my favorite part of this outfit is this dress. The geometric line print over the neons makes it more dynamic. It will work great in Fall/Winter too with tights and some knee high boots.
