Mine has been to declutter for years and years now… it’s taking a really long time but it’s really hard. I want a very minimal closet so it’s pretty radical. The most difficult part is getting rid of perfectly good things. I’d rather sell them, at least that gives me a reason to part with them.

Great post – love these resolutions! As a stay at home mom to a 6 yr old and 3 yr old, you begin to embrace the beauty of a ballet flat, flat boot (maybe even a wedge boot or wedge in the summer!), and some cute casual sneakers. I save the heels for date nights but honestly, now that I’m on the other side of being with my girls most of the time, the time for wearing heels more often will come back! I just consider myself lucky to have such great practical options for flats. And I sell a lot of my clothes on ebay. It’s a lot more fun to get rid of old items to make room for new ones and make a little bit of money in the process. 🙂
